The Perfect Plan

{Zed POV}

It's been a little over a month since our fresh start. At that moment Addison and I both agreed that it was best if we were just friends, but I just said that to get closer to her. So far everything has been going fine- no drop that perfect. Magical even. Ugghhh now I'm sounding like a girl. What is Addy doing to me? Anyways I think it's time we made it official. I've decided that it's time I ask Addison to be my girlfriend.

This whole week all I could do is think about how I was going to ask her. This had to be the most perfect way to ask, but I couldn't think of anything to do.

"Bree, can I talk to you for a second?" Since I was having trouble coming up with ideas, I decided to ask Bree. I mean she was Addison's best friend and knew her better than anyone; so, she should be able to help me. Right?

"Yeah, sure." Bree smiled her usual peppy smile, but then slowly began to fade into a mad frown. "Wait why?! Did you do something to hurt Addison again? I swear if you did Zed, I will br-"

"WHAT? No. I wanted to talk because I needed help."

Bree began to calm down and breathe heavily after realizing that everything was alright. "Oh, so what do you need help with?"

"You can't tell anyone okay," she nodded and I lowered my head and whispered, "I need your help with asking Addison to be my girlfriend."

"AAAHHHHHH!!!!!" All of a sudden she started jumping and screaming catching other students' attention. From behind I saw Addison walking towards us and I began to freak out.

"Bree calm down," but she didn't. "Bree I'm serious, Addy is coming towards us." Right when her best friend's name left my mouth, Bree instantly fell silent. She resumed going through her locker and acted as if nothing had happened.

"Hey guys! What's going on?" Addison had approached us and was smiling her beautiful, perfect smile. I was about to respond when Bree began to talk.

"Oh nothing. By the way, are you ready to be in a relationship?" I facepalmed myself and mentally screamed. Maybe I should've gone to Bonzo for advice instead.

Addison giggled nervously making butterflies in my stomach appear. Wait?!? Was she ready to be my girlfriend? "I mean I never really thought about it, but I guess if the right guy does ask me... then yeah. I would be ready." The whole time she looked at me and smile, and all I could do was smile back. Ruining our moment, Bree began jumping up and down again clapping excitedly. And with that she interlocked her arms with Addison and skipped away.

I was already excited about asking Addy, and after all of that- I couldn't be more ready.

I am so sorry for that long break, but I am excited to announce that I am now on summer vacation, which means more chapters being uploaded. This book is coming to an end soon though and most likely will be over by the end of this month. Only a couple more chapters for Zaddison. Also I do have another book and it is an original story called "Nothing's Change". It would mean a lot to me if you guys checked it out.
