Finally

{Zed POV}
Today was the day I was going to do it. Bree and I spent a week planning everything out until it was perfect. I was nervous about everything going right, but mostly excited that after today, Addison and I would finally be a couple.

Bree helped me pack a picnic and decorate the Zombie Light Garden. I knew that this is where I would be asking Addy since it was her favorite place. I was glad to have Bree's help because I was about to pack Zombie cauliflower, but she told me I was crazy and ended up taking care of the food instead. I didn't really care though, the only detail I was worrying about was how I was actually going to ask the question. Ever since I met Addison, our story had our ups and downs. She deserved the best and how I asked her to be my girlfriend had to be amazing.

Now that everything was set up, I grabbed the bouquet of pink roses and headed towards her house. As I was walking my nerves increased. What if something went wrong? Will she even say yes? I pushed my thoughts to the side and knocked on her door.

"Don't freak out Zed. You got this. Who's the zombie? I'm the zombie." I said to myself as a little pep talk.

"Yes you are," I looked up to see Addison smiling at me after laughing at my embarrassing conversation with myself. She was absolutely gorgeous in a pink floral dress. She only wore a small amount of makeup and she was still the most beautiful person I've ever met. I didn't notice myself loose all focus on everything else around me and only on the beautiful girl in front of me until she starting waving her hand in front of my face. "Are you okay? You zoned out for a little bit."

"Oh yeah sorry about that.... uhhh these are for you. I didn't know what kind to get you, but I know you're favorite color is pink so I thought these would work."

"These are perfect. Okay now are we ready to go?" Addy closed the door behind her and held out her hand to me.

"Yeah." I took her hand in mine and led her to the light garden.

{Addison POV}
I had no idea where we were going, but I was really excited. It felt good to be out of the house and hanging with my crus- I mean Zed. This whole week Bree and Zed have been busy and all I did was stay home and watch t.v. The walk to the place was quiet, but it wasn't uncomfortable. It felt nice... wonderful even.

After a while we ended up at the light garden and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. There were Polaroid pictures of me and Zed hanging from the ceiling and it seemed like there were even more lights than before. In front of the ramp a picnic blanket was set with vanilla froyo, chocolate covered strawberries, and a fruit platter. Yeah, Bree definitely helped out.

"Wow this is- it's- this is beautiful Zed. You didn't have to do all of this." I looked back at him to see him smiling at me with affection. I don't know what this boy was doing to me, but I knew I never wanted him to leave.

"It's no problem. Do you want to eat?" He asked as he was rubbing the back of this neck. We sat on the picnic blanket and just talked about all of the memories from each photo.

All of a sudden Zed got up and held out his hand. "Come on let's go."

"Where?" I asked with a giant smile on my face.

"You'll see. Trust me, you'll love it." I intertwined my fingers with his as he lead me to the ramp.

I smiled and giggled when I remembered that he was recreating our first time here. We met up at the center and started to ballroom dance. He twirled me around when he both said someday, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I faced him again. Zed was down on one knee and in his had was necklace with a rose gold z hanging from it.

"Addison would you please be my girlfriend?" Zed asked me with eyes full of pure love.

"Yes!"
