"No. Way." We pull into MAGIC FREAKING MOUNTAIN's parking lot and park. Oh my god I'm going to lose it. "How did you know I loved roller coasters?!" I ask Michael, almost screaming from excitement. "I asked around." We get out of the car and I run to hug him. "You are the best. This is amazing." He picks me up and spins me around. "Anything to make you happy, babe." I blush and hug him again. We start walking towards the entrance, hand-in-hand. We weren't dating, but he treated me like it.

"Oh! Let's go on this one!" I drag Michael to the first line I see. I start bobbing around in excitement and jumping around. He just watches me and laughs. "What? Is something wrong? I walk over to him, leaning on the metal gate/fence thing that divides the line. He shrugs, locking his phone and putting it in his back pocket. "Okay, don't tell anyone. But.. I'm kinda afraid of roller coasters. I've never actually been on one." He sighs, continues, "I know, it's lame." I'm shocked. Does he seriously think I would find that lame? "Babe.. no, no. I don't find that lame at all! That's crazy that you would think that. If you're scared of them we don't have to ride them, I'm fine with that." I hug him. He speaks up, "No, I want to ride them. I want to get over my fear of them.. with you. You can help me. I'll have you there with me." Way to make me blush, Clifford. We move up in line. "Of course I'll help you."

"Oh my god oh my god oh my-" I put my hand over Michael's mouth. "Mikey, stop. You're only going to freak yourself out more." He takes a few deep breaths. "Okay, but you have to sit next to me." He says. "Of course I will." We were at the gate, next to go on the ride. Michael was freaking himself out, and I was trying to keep him calm. "RIDE 3! HOW WAS YOUR RIDE?" The amusement park worker asks. He gets a few "Wooo!"'s in return. Michael grabs my hand and squeezes. "It's okay, just take deep breaths. You can get through this." He nods while the gates open. We get into the middle-ish seat and I go to put my bag into the cubby. I come back to find Michael has his seatbelt as tight as possible. I sit next to him and put my seatbelt on. "Michael.. you don't need your seatbelt that tight. It's not even going upside down."

"Ride 1 enjoy your ride!" The worker says through the speaker. Michael has a deathgrip on my hand. We start to go up the first steep hill. "Are we going to fall down? I feel like we're going to go backwards." He says franticly. "No, we're on a track. We're only going up." I give him a quick kiss on his cheek. He squeezes my hand as we get to the top of the hill. "OH. MY. GOODDD"

"That was so fun! I don't know why I was so scared. Can we ride another one?"
We ride a couple of rides before Michael suggests we take a break. I'm still full of energy, seeing how I've had countless cups of coffee, but Michael looked tired so we go to find some food. We eat at this little burger shop. Michael goes to order a cheeseburger for himself and a vegetable wrap for me and I find a table. "Food should be out soon." He says and sits across from me. I nod and look out the window at all of the people passing by. Mothers walking with their children, kids running around with grins plastered on their faces. He watches with me until our food comes. We eat in a comfortable silence while still people watching. We finish up eating then walk towards the games.

"I'm going to win you that." Michael points to a huge banana with dreads. He walks up, pays the guy, then tries to knock down the jars by throwing a ball at them. "Are those things glued together?" He sighs in frustration. He ends up not winning it, but instead wins a tiny stuffed lion. "His name is Daniel."

It starts to get dark and I figured we would leave, but Michael drags me towards the ferris wheel. "Wow, it's so beautiful up here." I say amazed, looking at all of the lights and people below us. I cuddle up to Michael and take in the sight. "Thank you so much for bringing me here, it was the best day." He rubs my shoulder and kisses my forehead. "You're welcome, I had an awesome time with you today. I got over one of my worst fears, because of you." We sit together in silence at the top of the Ferris wheel.
