Shelby's POV

"SHELBY GET YOUR ASS UP! RIGHT NOW!" Parker yelled at me. But I didn't want to get up. Warped tour only had a week left, and it was slowly killing me. Yes, I loved playing shows everyday and meeting fans, but goddamn it was tiring. Waking up early, playing a show, walking around in the killer sun, and drinking every night was slowly taking its toll on me. Waking up in a new city everyday was making me delusional. And with Michael kicking the shit out of Kevin, I was even more terrified of Kevin. I just wanted to be with Michael and feel safe.

I eventually got out of bed, slowly, but I did. I checked the schedule: signing at 5, play at 7. Perfect. I got dressed in some shorts and an of mice & men tank top, and added on a snapback because my hair looked like shit. I walked around for awhile, watched Handguns play a set, and ventured out of the venue. I was getting tired of seeing the same things everyday. I felt like I was on a constant routine, and I hated it.

I needed to chill. One way to do that...

"Yo Pittsburgh, can anyone hook me up with some chocolate?" Chocolate was obviously a code name for weed, but not a lot of people understood that.

Half an hour later I had a bag full of weed, and I was happy. I stopped in an alley, rolled a joint, and lit it. It felt amazing, it felt relaxing. Unlike alcohol, I wouldn't have a hangover tomorrow morning. I took a couple of hits and sat down. I laughed. Everything was going to work out. I was so happy.

"Whatcha got there, honey?" I turned my head to see two guys walking into my alley. "Oh hey, guys! Come join! Do you want a hit?" They started walking closer, and then it clicked.

Cops.

I jumped up, grabbed my bag, and headed toward the opening of the dead-end alleyway. But me, being high, was too slow for the officers who were, obviously, not high. They grabbed my arms, took my bag, and handcuffed me. Oh boy, this should be interesting.
