"I don't know what I'm doing, but I know how to do it." Breathe Carolina came on, meaning it was time to get up. I open one eye and shut off my phone alarm. "Fuuuuuckkkkk" I mumble and throw off the covers. Even though I was unbelievably excited to play again, I was beyond tired and sore from walking so much. I rolled over but the bed was empty. Weird. I go into the bathroom and turn the shower on.

"Honey I'm hooooome!" Michael shouted cheerfully as he walked through the hotel door. I giggled and went back to putting my shoes on. He walks towards me and kisses me before going to put his stuff together. "Where did you wonder off to?" I ask him. "Well, I walked around town to get some coffee for you-" He hands me a large coffee, "-and then I went to this cool little store and got a few shirts." I chug down the coffee. "You ready to go?" I ask, standing up. He nods and we walk out the door.

Even though we hadn't talked about what we were, I felt okay with that. I didn't want to put a label on whatever this was. I was having fun. Yes, I was really falling for him, and he said he was for me, but it felt too soon to jump into anything.

I was starting to get used to the paparazzi by now. I didn't feel so violated by them as I had before. They asked their usual questions, I didn't answer, and we got to his car. They're just wasting their time.

Michael pulls into an iHop. We eat some pancakes, I drink more coffee, and we end up having a small food fight before we're kicked out. We laugh about it and continue onto the highway.
