Over the course of the next five years, Karl Kjer looks to his work with barcodes, transcriptomes and hybrid-enriched phylogenetics. He will also continue to his current works in the field of insect phylogenetics. Kjer understands that "revolutions" present both promise and challenges to every field of science, and he looks to embrace any new developments the same as he has done in the past.
