Karl Kjer is an award-winning scientist with decades of experience. Karl Kjer a teacher who tenured with two R1 universities and, as of 2017, a freelance academic writer.
Karl Kjer is proud to have hosted the 2015 International Trichoptera Symposium at Rutgers University, where he currently serves as a visiting professor. Kjer has published a tremendous amount of articles and research regarding his studies in insect phylogeny. He is a contributor to the 1KITE initiative that has undertaken the incredible effort of studying in-depth genetic sequencing on over 1,000 insect species.
