Stone Castle

Atmosphere

Santana was strong, she was brilliant. A force to be reckoned with, but the spirits of that house were just as awful if not worse than her. She knew for a fact there was at least one here, she felt as though it had entered Jo's body. True she was but there were more. She entered the cellar slowly. A part of her feeling that that was where any monster would go. Why is it that people do this? I will never know. 

Whilst climbing down the long flight of stairs one of the boards caved in. She jumped but didn't get hurt. looking back at it she furrowed her brow thinking to herself that she was one step ahead of the game. A scream from behind her, more of a battle cry. As Jo rams her upside the stomach with a shovel. Santana yelps and swings her arm stabbing Josephine in the arm with the butcher knife. She merely laughs and holds up the shovel once more. Santana grabs her ankles and tosses her to the ground. Jo falls backwards landing on the furnace. 

The nozzle goes all the way to the right. Santana then kicks her into the flames and slams the door shut. She grunts heavily and walks up stairs. The eerie sound of the boards beneath her feet a large part of her felt that this wasn't over. She reaches the main hall and walks towards the dining area. Sam is sitting down with his feet on the table. Lucy and Kendall are talking by the window. Logan was no where to be seen.

Santana, with blood covering her face, clears her throat getting everyone's attention. "I did it..." she smiles. "I pushed her into the furnace." They all simply stared at her. She shrugged. "She hit me with a shovel and i stabbed her. Then i kicked her." She tossed the knife onto the table. The blood staining the white table cloth. 

Sam had this look on his face. A look that said he didn't care. He kept staring out the window. His eyes locked on a single point in the yard that lit up every time lighting flashed across the sky. He swore he saw Blaine out there. Was this place haunted? Who gives a fuck... he just wanted Blaine. 

A loud crash from behind Santana, Jo reappeared with burn marks all over her body. Her face was ruined and she had the shovel in her hand. Santana jumped out of the way and the shovel crashed into the table. The glass shattered and Santana grabbed the shovel from Jo's grasp. Jo jumped onto the busted table and tackled Santana to the ground. The Latino from Lima heights was angry now. She kicked the crazy bitch off of her and swung the shovel colliding it with her skull. 

Kendall was the first to notice that the butcher knife was sticking out of Sams Skull. He sank low in his chair before slipping off the end his head hitting the side of the busted table and the blade sinking in even more. He grabbed Lucy and pulled out through the other door. Before they made it to the front door flames ignited all the way around them. They were trapped. 

Zack by now had realized that he needed to get out of that house. It had sucked his brother in and he wasn't going to befall the same fate. He worked his way out of the tunnels. He stumbled upon a ladder. He wiped his face placing one hand in front of the other and climbing to the top. He pushed open the lid of the box and found himself in the west wing. 

He looked around the quiet room and saw the dusty piano. He moved quickly to get to the door that open to the breezeway above the garden leading back to the main building. He open the door slamming it behind him. Logan looked back at him from a podium. "How the hell did you get in there?" The doctor asked. Zack ran by grabbing his hand. "We have to go!" He cried. Logan pulled back. "Go where... why?" Zack couldn't explain. he didn't have time. 

They ran inside and all the way down the corridor cutting right to enter the main hall. They saw the flames encircling Kendall and Lucy and they froze. Santana and Jo came wrestling out of the dining room one wielding a blunt object and the other fighting for her life. Santana got Jo on the ground and took the Shovel from her bashing the blondes skull in but not before She took a bite out of Santana's calf. 

Josephine turned her head to the side. She allowed death to consume her. From her body rose a figure. A terrifying figure. Two more appeared just outside the flames that enclosed Kendall and Lucy. Lucy's grandmother stepped through the fire to look at the young girl. Capernicus was outside looking down at his Santana. He adored her integrity but knew it was over for her. She had fought so hard. 

"Lucy..." Matilda took the young girls hands with in her won. "You must admit that you love him." She looked at Kendall. Who was staring into the flames with pure terror. Lucy was eyeing him and she felt her grandmother shake her. "Lucy!" She cried. "There isn't much time... The only way to end this is to tell the truth." 

She removed herself from her grandmother and wrapped her arms around Kendall. "I love you..." She whispered. The flames immediately ceased. Though the figure was a mess of black above their heads like a fog or a mist. Capernicus looked to Matilda. She turned her gaze back to him. "I am so sorry..." she mouthed the words to him. The fog shifted and headed for the boys at the opposite end of the corridor. Zack took off running but the doctor wasn't so lucky. Kendall watched as his best friend was completely shredded the fog piercing his body and all of him simply fading away in a gruesome display of red and yellow. 

The figure lifted into the ceiling and dissipated. Santana looked back at Kendall and Lucy. Matilda began walking towards the cellar door. She walked right through it without even opening it. Lucy chased after her. Kendall following right behind Santana picked herself off the ground and came face to face with Capernicus. "My blood." He said calmly. "The boy..." He pointed in the direction that Zack fled. "He is important... he holds the key to my eternity within his mind... please get him out." 

(One final chapter remains my friends. With only Santana, Zack, Lucy, and Kendall left i'm not one hundred percent sure who i want to make it out alive. Or even if i want any of them to make it out alive... Stay tuned and get ready for the end of Stone Castle... Thanks for tuning in.)
