Putting it down

Logan sat with Jessie until she passed. Her death was long and painful. He wasn't the "put it out of its misery" type. She was still alive and a small part of Logan thought she just might make it. She was asleep. He listened to her steady breathing as the lighting flashed across the the sky giving a little light into the room. He saw her face in the flash.

She seemed so at peace now. Try as he might, he just couldn't get over the fact that she was missing an ear. 'Where was it?' Whatever did this to her was still in the house he knew it. Yet, here he sat with his back tot he door like he was safe. He wasn't safe. None of them were. He was not going to leave her alone.

A creek at the door he turned around. Cody was standing in the dim light of the hallway looking in. The lighting flashed to light up his pale face as he gave a sheepish half grin to Logan. "Cody?" Logan stood up quickly patting his pockets to look for the key. He soon realized it wasn't there. "Carlos ran out in front of my car earlier today... He uh... he took off with my car when we got back." A sigh of relief came from Logan as he swung his arms around Cody. "He got away." Logan whispered squeezing tighter. Cody could hear him whimper. "He got away..."

Cody looked past his shaking friend at the girl on the bed. "Oh my god is that Jessie?" He asked. Logan nodded backing up he walked over to the bed and slid a box out from beneath it. "No one here has her blood type I've tried so hard to save her." Logan sighed pulling out the stuff to do it then burring his face in her hair. Cody snickered and walked over to him. "I do... She gave me blood a few years back when i got shot in the stables by that crazy ass neighbor." Logan looked up at him with a sliver of hope. "It is a uh... dangerous procedure especially here... she could hemorrhage." Cody shook his head pulling the chair closer to the bed. "It's that or she dies." He whispered and stretched his arm out to Logan.

Zack finally got up from his spot on the kitchen floor gripping his sides the rough bandages now too tight on him. The sun had set and it was late, he just needed to go somewhere. He walked around the main hall for a bit then his curiosity peaked when he saw the door was open. He had been pacing for ten minutes how had he not noticed it? He looked outside and saw Santana out by her car kicking it and screaming. He trotted down to her. She looked up at him. "You gonna snitch?" She asked hatefully. He looked down at her tires and then back up at her. "Who would do something like this?"She laughed sitting down on the hood. She shook her head and brought her hands to her face one gripping a cigarette her legs crossed and bouncing up and down in front of her.

"We're going to die here aren't we?" Zack had never sounded so broken. She looked at him in a deep luring way. "No..." she grabbed his face. "Look at me..." His eyes met hers. She was crying. "I promise you are going to get out of here alive." They both looked out to the road. "It's not that far to the highway." Her head swinging back to look at him once more. "We can make it..."

"Cody..." He said quietly. She peered up at the massive Castle. Taking his hand she led him back inside. They viewed upon the silent halls in despair. All was quiet. Where was Kendall? Where was Sam? They walked up the staircase headed for Lucy's room. She was in there, her bags were packed and she was on the phone. Santana crossed her arms. Zack furrowed his brow. She looked at them with sympathy. Kendall came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist drooping a little low both Santana and Zack couldn't help but look down at the base of his v line.

"How are we going to get the key from Logan." Kendall asked. Santana held it up with a smirk. "I got the door open... but all of our cars have been fucked with." Lucy dropped the phone her eyes wide Kendall dropping the towel. His jaw dropped. Zack's eyes followed the snake down to his knees. A smile spreading across his face. Kendall blushed a little but moved over to the bed to slip into some boxer briefs. Zack stared the whole time and Kendall was perfectly fine with it. He slipped on a pair of swimming trucks and a hoodie. Odd combination but hey when you're running that's all there is to it.

"Guess we're walking." Lucy sighed. Jo came running up behind them. She was covered in blood and she looked like she was going to be sick. They turned to look at her Santana reared her fist back and decked that bitch in the face. She crashed to her knees. She looked up and them breathing hard and said. "He's coming for us." Just as Santana was about to swing again Lucy caught her arm kneeling down and looking Jo in the face. "Who?"

"Torrence." Her one word answer was like a curse sending ice over every inanimate object in the room. Frost settled on the window causing it to crack. The heat stopped ice flowed through their veins. Sam tackled her, he came out of nowhere. "You killed him!" his fists stuck her jaws repeatedly. She screamed and both Zack and Kendall had to pry them apart. "Who!" She cried out. "Blaine!" He spat. "Blaine!" He called the name like it was the secret name of God. He wanted to vanish into the walls and never be seen again. All he cared for in this world was stripped from him.

James appeared behind Sam and began talking. "I told you not to go down there." Only she could hear him and a deep part of her knew that but she responded anyhow. "I had to... otherwise Carlos would be dead." Sam lunged at her but Kendall held her back. "What the fuck does that mean!" The blonde boy cried. James snickered walking into the room and over to the window. "It's a plot." Jo spoke slowly. "He was using us... feeding off of our bodies to bring himself back to life. Kill us all so that he would have his eternity." Josephine had it all figured out. "she's crazy." Sam started crying harshly his face red with anger.

"Torrence will stop at nothing to make sure the story stays buried." James looked back at her. "You will have to fight to make sure the truth is set free." He snickered watching as Kendall took out the rope she had used to tie up Sam. As Kendall slowly approached her she grew scarred. "Tell them!" she looked at James. "Please."

Kendall took her arms. "Jo..." he said slowly. "listen to me... We need to get you some help okay." He took her wrists behind her back and tied them together. Then drug her into the bathroom. She fought the whole way there. "NO!!!" she screamed. "the truth must be set free!" She cried as he tied her to the toilet. "The truth-"She slammed the door.

"It was her..." Lucy whispered. "She killed Blaine and tortured Jessie." Santana scoffed at Lucy's statements and walked out of the room. She knew damn well Jo didn't just decide to start doing these things. However, when people are scarred they will cling to any belief to keep themselves sane. She came to the door of Jessie's room. She pushed it open and saw Cody sitting there talking to Logan. Logan looked up at her. "look who's back." He said to her. Cody turned around and she gasped.

Jessie started convulsing and blood poured out all over the mattress. "No no no no... stay with me stay with me." Logan whined as he held her down trying to fix it. He let out a harsh yelp and fell backwards covering his face as she just bled out knowing there was nothing he could do. He cried to himself in a deep state of panic as he lost the patient. Cody pulling the needle out of his body and taping himself up he stood up and backed away feeling a little woozy. He made it about three steps to the door before he hit the floor knocking himself unconscious.
