Over the course of the next twenty-four hours, my sickness began to fade and turned into a worrisome pit in my stomach. I was no longer concerned with my illness. That awful feeling in my chest from the previous morning had not gone away.

It wasn't often that I felt this painful anomaly. The last time I felt it was the night before my parents died, which made it all the more terrifying.

After a long period of restless worrying in my bed, I decided to go downstairs and find my sister. She had always been good at predicting bad things, so I went with the hopes that she could ease my mind.

I gave a light knock on her door, then let myself in. "Ce..Line..?" I found her.. Packing a bag? "Celine what're you-"

"I have to go to that house." she interrupted. The pit grew worse. "No.. You don't.. You don't.. You don't feel what I do.. Do you?" I asked, a sense of panic creeping quickly into my mind. She looked deep into my eyes as tears filled hers. "Iris.. I'm so scared." she whispered. My chapped lips parted in shock. Rarely did she ever get this emotional. The magnitude of the situation finally set in.

"God Celine.. Don't tell me you think someone is.."

"I don't know Iris. All I know is something really bad is going on and I've got to get to that house."

I nodded, understanding her need to be there. "Please be safe." I said. She smiled. "I'll be fine little sister. Just focus on getting yourself better." She walked over to me and kissed my forehead, her soft cheeks dampened with tears. "I'll see you soon." she whispered. Without another word, she grabbed her bag and fled from our house for the final time.
