To escape into a world of euphoria
as my veins fill with silver and gold.
Beads of tears that form, crystallize,
as the wind bites my rosy cheeks.
All words escape to a passing cloud,
as my coherent thoughts fall; a black rain.
Only senses awakened, to their full potential,
to feel such unrestrained freedom.
Darkening golden rays, tearing the sun
all but the moon to watch over it's mother.
As I sleep adrift a cloud, on a starry night,
with peace and warmth, a lovely sight.
Lost in the land of peril and death,
but found in the sky of childish glee.
Racing to and fro, from rain to mist,
drinking in the sights from above.
Laughter fills the brisk night air,
as I cusp the breath of life's storm.
Silver wings that have I been born,
to raise my heart's content.
