II : SILLY No one can't ever resist his charm.
Chapter 2
He is talking nonstop. He is shaking my shoulders right now.
"Lia! Stop that silent treatment. Notice me please," he pleaded. I secretly laughed at the word 'silent treatment'. I'm doing that for seventeen years. He have to use for it.
I noticed a guy who is a little bit far from us, being chased by a dog.
"Hey look at that, is that Jaemin?" he said. I watched him as he climbed a tree. The boy beside me suddenly laughed. I threw him a glare.
"What?" he stopped.
"Help him." i gestured. I noticed how his adam's apple waved. Look at this young man. Don't tell me he is scared too.
"Are you serious?" he asked. He looked at me for seconds and whispered something. After that, he decided to walk towards Jaemin. I bet he is mocking right now because he hates to follow people.
I mentally slapped myself when I saw him climbed a tree too. See? He's being an asshole but he is scared too. I had no choice but to help them. Calm down, that is just a dog. You'll not die from that- wait I can die from that. No, i'm here to save someone's life. Don't be afraid, Lia.
"Lia, i'm sorry! Please forgive me before I die," Winwin shouted. Die? It looks like i'm the one who is going to be dead soon.
"Cholo, come here," the woman said. The dog stopped barking and quickly ran to her. It looks like she is the owner of that dog who made my classmates feel like shit.
"I'm sorry," she said. I watched her and the dog entered their house. I sighed in relief.
"Whew!" he climbed down. They both came to me. I chuckled when I saw Winwin's sweat. I thought he just took a bath.
"What?" I shooked my head. My eyes were darted to Jaemin. "Thank you." he said and smiled sweetly. I smiled too but not sweetly as his smile. I don't know why but I found his smile weird.

Winwin sent me home. Before I could enter our gate, he pulled my wrist to stop me.
"Lia," he called. I sighed as he sticked out his bottom lip. He is trying to be cute. Well, his charms doesn't affect me. "I'm sorry," he said. I don't know what I am supposed to say. This is not the first time we fought. Actually, we fight a lot when we're in 6th grade. It is just shallow reasons.
"Hm, I'm going home. I'll just text you later," he said and bid goodbye. I nodded and went inside. Am i being shallow? Hello, this is not the first time he did this kind of crime.
I saw my mom preparing for our dinner. Dad is busy for his work. He is not here in the city. Hope that he's doing fine. I miss him and I hope he comes back soon.
"Hi, sweetie. How's school? Didn't I tell you that I will pick you up today?" she said. I went to her and kissed her on cheeks. I just simply smiled. She get it, she knows I'm doing fine, as usual.
"Did Winwin sent you home?" she asked and I nodded.
"Hm, go to your room and change. Dinner is ready after four minutes," she said. I went upstairs and changed clothes. Winwin isn't texting me. I will not be the one who'll text first, i'll wait for his message. I just went down to eat with my mom.
After the meal, i checked my phone again, but still, there's no sign of Winwin.
But I can't take it anymore. No matter what happens, he's still my dorky bestfriend.
Lia Are you home? Why aren't you replying? Are you okay? Okay, fine, i forgive you.
Winwinie the pooh Sorry for the late reply Yes, i'm hims Home* Wait what? You already forgave me?
Lia Oh okay, I just want to make sure if you're safe.

My mom sent Winwin and I today. He sits on the back seat while i'm sitting in the front seat. He is so annoying because he keeps bugging me like he's pulling the seatbelt and covers it around my face. Mom doesn't mind. She lets her daughter's bestfriend do it to her one and only child.
"Winwin, please look after my daughter. Don't let the other boys go near her," mom said to Winwin.
"Okay mom," he answered. I didn't contrast. Mom always says this to him everytime she sends us to school. I am used to it. I don't know if Winwin is doing his job. I think no one wants to be near me anyways.
"Bye mom!" i gestured. He trust Winwin too much. We're bestfriends for four years. She treats her like a son. Well, I don't treat him like a brother. I shouldn't because i don't want to.
"Bye kids! Don't forget to text me if you're already going home," she said. I watched her leave before i went inside.
"What can you say about my new haircut?" I looked how he combed his hair by his fingers. He looks good in any hairstyles and cuts.
"You're ugly!" i gestured. His face crumpled.
"Ugly my foot! Just admit it. I know i look good in your eyes. Am I?" I didn't answer him. I just looked straight to where I am walking.
I wonder why Winwin doesn't leave my side since 6th grade. He has a lot of friends and he always let me come with him everytime they're having lunch. He always asks me for permission to come with his friends every weekend. I mean, he doesn't have to do that. It is his decision. If there's a person that he must ask for permission, then it is Winwin's parents, not me.
We went straightly to our classroom. I just sat down to my seat and waited until the teacher came.
