I did not give up on my life after Daniel died. I wanted to live my life the way Daniel had wanted me to. I pursued my dreams, and today, I’m a successful 40 year old author. I am unmarried and live with my parents, grandparents, brother and my sister-in-law in a bungalow near Magdalen College, Oxford, England.
It was difficult to imagine a life in which there was no Dan. But today, when I remember Dan, I think of him as an angel who came in to my life, enriched it, and then left. Whenever I reminisce about him, my smile and tears know no boundaries. The difference now is, each drop of these tears is happy and feels blessed.
I have always believed that darkness never persists for eternity. Even after a long night, the sun always dawns... Always.
