Have you ever wonder what life would be like if you had super powers? Well, I do! In times like these, I wish I had the telepathic ability to communicate with my girlfriend in and out of class without anyone noticing.
Things have been looking up recently, my love life, school, everything and I am grateful. Except for my friends who are complaining that I do not spend time with them anymore. I feel bad that I have neglected them. So here I am at a local diner trying to make amends.
"Lauren, how have you been?", Normani and Ally said simultaneously. We all laughed. I did not notice how much I missed my best friends until now. It feels so refreshing to be able to sit down and talk. I told both of my friends about my relationship they support me. It feels good. I am starting to think about telling my parents. I am nervous because I know Camila would not agree. I think it might be too fast for her.
Ally, Normani and I hugged and parted ways. Not before promising them that we would do this again soon.
I am now at my girlfriend's place watching a movie waiting for her to get home. Yes, I said home because of I practically here now. An hour passed before I heard keys shuffling, with multiple curse words. I got up and went to the bedroom and hid in the closet. Moments later I heard a loud crashing sound and a thud, footsteps getting closer and closer to where I was. Camera shuttering, taking pictures I am sure.
I saw his head by peeking through the cracks in the closet doors and my heart rate accelerated. Walking around he got closer I held my breath as he slowly opened the door revealing me with a shocked yet cynical look on his face.
"Lauren? What the fuck are you doing here?"
