Even years later, EJ continued to play. And Max continued to listen. Even after they had both graduated and gotten jobs, she played and he listened. After five years of dating, Max proposed on the anniversary of the day they had met. Exactly six years before.

They would both live out their lives in peaceful bliss, continuing to live in New York City. Even having two children, Jackson and Arista. Unfortunately EJ's life was cut short, at the age of 50 she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. After two years of fighting, she lost.

But she was always remembered. Through her consistent work in the medical field, refusing to give up on any of her patients. As well as through her music. She had posted many videos on YouTube, most of which were covers but she even had some original songs. But many people loved the songs as well as her voice.

Of course, her friends and family would never forget her. Especially me.

Even now as I sit here writing this, I can still remember her voice. The stories she told, the songs she sang, the things she said. Everything all so beautiful and gentle, even as she laid in her hospital bed she still sang. I never knew how she did it.

But forever, I shall remember her as my ukulele girl. The one who I spent the rest of my life with. The one who I would always remember. The one I love.

AN: So sorry for ending this story really sadly. But if you guys want, I'm considering creating another one that goes through after they start dating and through the rest of their lives. But I kinda wanted to wrap up the story so I could get to work on other ones like 180 Notes and The Great Musical Of 2018. But I do hope you all enjoyed this story. It was one I truly liked writing, even though it was a pretty short one. Anyway, that's a wrap on this story. Onto the next!
