We began the walk of shame to the detention room. Heads hung, feet dragging. Was this to be the end of a great era of school life that we vaguely enjoyed? No one could tell. But what we did know, is that we weren’t going to go down easy. We passed the other students as they were on their way out. Lucky bastards, getting to escape on time. I looked around them with viscous envy. Safe to say though, I was restrained in my ominous glare.

And finally we had arrived. The detention room. Essentially just the same room they used for lessons when it wasn’t used for holding students against their will after school. Orochimaru unlocked the room and allowed us to enter, a smug grin stretching across his face. Fuck was he hideous to look at.

Without a word we seated ourselves around the room. A lot of us were regulars and knew the protocol for this situation already. Itachi though was looking confused and alienated.

Orochimaru remained by the door until we were all in our seats, “I’ll be back in a minute after filing your detentions” and he’d left.

Deidara leant forward urgently across the table, “Okay, what are we gonna do, hm? If he takes legal action this is gonna open up a whole world of shit for us”

“I can’t get kicked out of another fucking school guys” Hidan was muttering to himself, running his hands through his now rather messy hair, “May Jashin save us all”

I looked to Pein. He always knew what to do, he always had a plan, a way out. But when I looked at him he was silent and blank. Damn… shit had really hit the fan, then.

“Seriously man, it would suck if we all got separated and sent to different schools” the room fell silent. The prospect still extremely stoned Kisame was offering was a very real one, “They’ve already separated most of our classes; that’s what they’ll do next”

“Shit, man… Shit” Hidan’s head hit the table, “Shit, shit, shit…”

“W-we can’t get sent to different schools un!” Dei stood abruptly, “That just can’t happen!”

“We could get him fired” Everyone turned to Pein. “If we get him fired it’d knock his credibility to all of this, and I think we all know where we’d hit him”

Yes. We did indeed. It was something everyone knew about, all we’d need was hard evidence to support it and he was gone. But, the nature of that hard evidence… This was going to be difficult, and I personally didn’t know whether it was worth it or not for those who’d be involved.

Kakuzu leaned in now, “What are you suggesting, Pein?”

“We just need enough, not a lot, not overkill, but enough for a criminal conviction. But whatever it was it’d need to be on tape for the world to see and hear. And it’d need to be done soon, before he can go to the police”

“Today kind of soon?”

“Probably. It’s possible, anyway. We are technically in the ideal situation for it to happen; after school, in a room together, no one else around. We could even get a couple of people to film”

“This is highly unethical” Itachi basically close captioned what I was thinking.

“Yeah he’s a bit rapey”

For fuck’s sake Hidan. Pein continued, “I know, but, just for today, in case he says anything, someone have a camera out. It’ll be a start if we do get something and if we don’t, well, we don’t” that seemed fair enough. As we both had blazers on with pockets in the front, me and Kakuzu took our phones out to film, concealing them in said pockets. It wasn’t likely Orochimaru would be paying too much attention to us anyway as we were in near perfect uniform. He had no reason to notice.

He was coming back down the corridor. Everyone resumed the positions of disappointed and ashamed teenagers and he walked in, smug as hell, carrying a massive chunk of paper. “Here you go boys, some nice equations for you to do while you’re waiting”

I saw the look of terror wash over Dei’s face as he heard those mortal words. “Not equations. Literally give us anything but equations, un.”

He looked at Dei long and hard, and a tiny yet dreadful laugh slipped from his mouth, “Well I’ll just have to go and see what else they’ve got for you to do”

Orochimaru left again, and instantly we all resumed to lean in, I spoke first “Any kind of plan here? Do we provoke him somehow?”

“If we have to, but I can’t predict what’s going to happen here so we’ll have to improvise if it comes to that”

Deidara picked up a pencil off the table, “Well I can do this” he dropped it on the floor, and got up to go and get it. Bending over as he did so, all our eyes just sort of widened.

“Holy fuck, Dei, you’ve got an arse like a girl. I mean no homo but a really hot girl” Hidan blurted out in amazement. I’d never noticed before as I hadn’t exactly looked but, wow, now he mentioned it… His umm, his jeans, they really were erm very tight. Yes.

Kisame even came out of his little trance, “Dude that’s hella hot. No homo”

Pein just stared wide-eyed as Dei stood back up, and pointed, “That thing you’re doing there, do that.”

There was noise from outside. “Shit, he’s coming!” wow, Hidan. Very subtle, many quiet. Wow.

We’d already assumed the positions when Orochimaru entered again. He was carrying even more papers this time, and he began setting them down the tables in front of us. I picked mine up… oh god. I looked across to Itachi who put his glasses on wondering what we were all so unhappy about, and instantly understood. It was Kakuzu who spoke up first, “Sir I don’t think it’s necessary to be giving us sex ed activities”

Necessary my arse it was wildly inappropriate! I made sure my phone was filming… yep, it was recording every minute of it. Time to let Orochimaru do his thing.

“I’m sorry, but it was all they had left”

“Bullshit.” Yeah Hidan wasn’t one for keeping opinions to himself, “You could have got just about fucking anything other than this shit”

“I don’t appreciate being talked to like that, Hidan. You don’t want to have to stay any longer than an hour after school, do you?”

“Fuck no.”

Pein gave a subtle nod to the brat, and the rather unofficial plan was put into action. Deidara pulled out his pencil from his pocket, fumbling with it so he dropped it clumsily with a small clatter to the floor, “Argh.” This was it; I turned my body a little to get Orochimaru and Dei in frame and tried to keep my eyes on the worksheet in front of me. Deidara bent down, picking up the pencil, and right at that moment Orochimaru turned round.

His eyes practically popped out of his head, “Oh, my…”
