Alice looked out in disappointment, searching for the shadow she knew was watching her. She returned inside, nothing in mind. She exits her room and heads to the window in her living room. All she sees is the bright lights of the other side of the apartment--but he still wasn't there. She cleared her head, ignored the sheets that dropped on the floor, and just stared outside.

Was she satisfied? Was that it?

She waited a little longer, hoping he'd appear. But he never came.

Alice paused for a while. Then, she nonchalantly picked the blanket from the floor and dragged herself in her room to sleep.

---

"I should've invited him inside." She whispered to herself as the mug stayed on her lower lip, her eyes staring at the blunt building in front of her bedroom balcony. She leaned against the railings, trying to catch air. She was still thinking about last night.

It's been a long time since she felt pleasure like that night. She loved it...but it was not enough.

Will he return? She asked herself. Surely, he would, unless he finds it awkward now. What if he didn't think I knew? What if now he's too guilty to come back and face me?

She couldn't stop thinking.

Alice knew all she could do was wait for the day to pass until it was nine o-clock.

Should she invite him in or should they take it slow?

"I don't want to freak him out and make him think I'm casually just letting him in. I don't want him to think I'm used to strangers watching me!" She mumbled. And then she knew she had to take it slow.

Tonight, I'll shower and prepare a good show. I might be a little late than usual, but it's gonna be better.

"Tonight?" Raphael exclaimed, glaring at Leo.

Leonardo glared back, "Yes. Tonight."

"I-"

His three brothers looked at him,

Raphael tried to come up with an excuse, "I-I can't tonight."

"What the hell do you mean you can't tonight? We have to start tonight." Leonardo snapped,

Donny agreed, "If we don't, we'll lose them."

Imagining Alice's skin in Raphael's head, he knew he could not agree on accompanying his brothers that night to plot the capture of a rampant vigilante group. If he could be honest, he would prefer to indulge in her calming and pleasurable presence than come running and catching a bunch of dirty old criminals.

"Raph!" Mikey shouted,

He snapped back into reality and grunted, "I'm listening!"

"Doesn't look like it. What's wrong with you? You're back to that again--"

"Back to what?"

"You look distracted."

"I'm not. We just finished capturing a bunch of criminals and we're back again. I thought that was over with."

Leonardo sneered, "You want to slack off again?"

Raphael let that slide. At this point, he would choose to be humiliated by Leonardo as long as he gets to Alice's that night. Everything was fine, until Splinter arrived in the room.

"What is this?" He calmly asks, but an air of authority enveloped the place, making the brothers quiet.

"Raphael looks like he doesn't want to work tonight."
