My mind wandered at the red cloth on my couch as I lied on it. I played with the cloth with my finger until I heard a voice on the phone and realized I was still on the call with my sister.
"Uh, hello? Are you paying attention?"
I nodded when I forgot I was on the phone, "Yeah, I mean yeah. So Jason, right?"
"Yes. That's his name. I mean, were you not paying attention? I've been trying to describe him and it seems like all you heard was the name." She sounded annoyed.
"Look, Angela." I stopped playing with the cloth and pulled myself up to sit. I rubbed my neck and sighed, "I'm sorry but I'm just not interested in going."
"One last time. Come on." She said.
I can't do it, to be honest. I can't meet someone new when I'm thinking of someone else.
"If you do it, I will never ever set you up again."
I paused. "Do you mean it?"
She convinced me again. But that's only to get her off my tail. If I said no, heaven knows she would turn up at my door with the guy. So, I agreed.
I dressed up and got ready for the date.

Master Splinter would definitely hate what I'm doing. But there's clearly nothing wrong with what I'm doing, right?
This is probably better than being a night guard. And it's better than staying home and grunting at every stupid comment my brothers make. This is much better.
Suddenly, I get a flashback of Mikey telling me how I should let loose for a while. Now this. This is letting loose alright.
I carefully peeked through the window to check if she's home. And lucky enough, she was. But she was holding up a black dress on top of her, almost checking if it looked good on her.
"Oh don't worry, you look perfect already." I thought to myself. When I heard myself say it I immediately shook my head. The hell am I even saying?
What is this, though? Is she going up to the rooftop? I squinted my eyes and tried to fix them at the clock by the wall and saw that it's late. Where is she going?
She put her clothes on inside her room and returned to the living room all dressed up. Then, she grabbed her purse and left. Quickly, I hoisted myself up to the roof and waited. I leaned against the wall and waited again but there was nothing. It was empty.
Then, I heard a car door slam. I ran to the edge and saw Miss Eave walking to the other side of the car and climbing in. Look's like she's got a date.

Raphael followed Alice's car carefully until she reached the open restaurant in the midst of the city. There, he saw how she met up with a man he had not seen before. His heart sank, but as a defense, as if somebody could see him, he tried to not care.
But his feelings showed differently. His mouth twitched in frustration and anger as he watched Jason laugh and grin at Alice. He had been watching his face light up for minutes. Raphael jumped to a building opposite to it to get a view of Alice's face, and perfectly enough, she was smiling lightly. Her cheeks, glowing. Raphael could not stop staring.
Then, he noticed how Jason slowly reached for her hand but instantly, she pulled it away. Raphael laughed at him and mocked him as he sat on the ledge.
"You think you're slick, huh? You think you're smooth?" He laughed then gorged on a pizza. He had felt comfortable on top of the building that he had the time to get himself his own food, watching both have dinner.
An hour passed and it still seemed like Alice was quiet and that Jason had been doing all the talking. Then, he noticed how he tried to reach for her face, pretending to remove an invisible smudge on Alice's face, taking advantage of touching her.
Raphael's anger erupted inside him, making him immediately stand up. He groans at the sight of Alice looking uncomfortable. He taunts Jason despite being on top of the building and accidentally whips the pizza in his hand. Later on, he realized the blunder he caused when he noticed something on his peripheral vision; something flew down. He stopped and looked down, "Oh no."
---
I looked at my pizza long and hard, then glanced at the two.
As if bad luck had followed me today, a tiny piece of meat flew right on top of Jason's head then bounces down to the floor. I snorted and started laughing when he began to look around him, wondering what hit him.
This gave me an idea.
It looked like both tried to shrug it off until I did it again. This time, I flicked a larger meat and it went straight into his meal! Oh man, I laughed so hard I had to move away from the ledge to keep laughing.

First time a date went well for the first five minutes and it turns out this guy not only tried too hard to be funny, but also tried too hard to get his hands on me.
He started touching my hand, but it went too long, so I gave him the hint by pulling away. Minutes later, my hand is free and he thinks its an invitation to be held.
Hand touching would totally be okay but if he starts accidentally raking my leg, it's definitely not okay. I was ready to shout at him but before I could speak, weird enough, something hit his head. My initial reaction would be to laugh but I had to keep it in since I was already angry and confused. I tried to brush it off like he did just to keep myself on track. But before I could speak up and explain to him how I wanted to leave, a bigger object had fallen in his food.
I looked at him and he looked just as confused as I was. But then, Jason's smiley face completely turned upside down as he stood from his seat and threw the napkin on the table. He began shouting and calling for the waiter. Two staff went to him as he began scolding them about the embarrassment.
Completely humiliated, I covered my face with my hand and rolled my eyes. I looked up and inhaled deeply. But just when I looked up, something fluttering caught my attention just a few feet above us at the building across the open restaurant. A familiar sight: a fluttering ribbon? a cloth? a bandanna?
Then it hit me. I quickly glanced back at Jason who had his hands on his hips now, standing. I realized people were stealing glances at us. I knew it was time to leave.
I stood up, grabbed my purse, laid out a couple of bucks on the table, told him I was leaving, and turned around despite Jason calling for me. He didn't even followed me, probably because he knew we were both not interested in talking about this thing on a second date.
