Lightning is still out. I thought as I walked in his room this morning. I changed the flowers. Lightning loves dahlias but I couldn't find those or the look alike chrysanthemum flowers here in Main City. Lightning's second favorite flowers are the zinnas but I couldn't find that either, you can find all of them in Black City so you would think the city that practically runs the whole world would have those flowers. I settled for roses instead, they're not Lightning's favorite but he likes them as a substitute. I placed my hands on Lightning's forehead. He's heating up.

"Seems like you're about ready to wake up." I said. "Wonder what's your next move going to be."

My stomach growled and I decided to go to the city's center to grab something to eat. When I reached the city's square. I looked around there's a red building with a yellow M on it. Alpha Earth has a lot of those. Lightning took me to New York once they had a lot of those. I believe it was called McDonald's.

"We interrupt your evening with some breaking news." A television monitor on top of a building turned on. Maru was on screen. He was wearing shades and his purple hair was slicked back. He had on a purple suit with a red shirt.

"Greetings Betalings. I am hear to announce that the Holy Continent is now declaring war on the Shadow Continent, expect a battle to commence in three days." He held three fingers up. The screen shut off.

I forgot I was hungry and ran towards the hospital. If a war starts Main City will definitely recruit Lightning. When I got to the hospital the floor Lightning was on looked like it lost electricity, the lights were off, some were flashing on and off.

"How much do you know Lightning?" A voice behind me said.

"Inyu don't sneak up on me like that. I am dangerous when my guard is down." I said

"Something learned from Lightning I bet." Inyu said, his white hair in a pony tail. He's wearing an all red outfit. Red leather jacket, red shirt, red jeans, red sneakers.

"What do you mean about Lightning?." I asked. He pointed in Lightning's room.

"Ten minutes ago several nurses went inside about a minute after the lights in this floor went out.. The nurses still haven't came out. What's worse is that I smell blood. I didn't go in because I figure that right is yours before mine." Inyu passed his hand in his hair messing up the front. "I honestly do not sense him anymore."

I walked to the room Lightning was in. Room 5-55. It's amazing how the number "55" will forever plague this boy. It's ironic the results will also forever be the same I thought as I sighed. I opened the door. There were ten nurses scattered throughout the room a few of them with their heads off their body in random parts of the room. All of them had bite marks on their necks. Lightning's bed was empty and completely stained with blood. On the wall next to his bed was a nurse crucified to the wall. Her eyes wide open like she was shocked before she died. Her heart was missing.

"This boy is savage." Inyu came behind me and sighed. "And he really ditched us."

"He's pushing us away." I said

"Why?"

"Probably because to him, Tokine died yesterday. He let her in and she died which is the story of his life." I said sadly. "He took her phone..." I looked on the table to where I left her phone it was gone.

"Speaking of which. We got to bury her. Her body is desiccating and the hospital can preserve it but so much."

"Then grab her body. We must follow Lightning's lead and leave the city. We'll bury her outside somewhere."
