Family Reunion

I got to the north coast of The Shadow Continent, without drawing any attention. Then I just realized something. I don't have a boat. Keyshia's not here for me to mimic her Ki to walk on water. I placed two fingers up in front of my face like a ninja. I tried to walk on the water with my own ki. I walked on it for about three steps before I fell in.

"For fucks sake!" I yelled and I shot out a dark projectile which destroyed nearby rocks.

"My oh my. If only there was someone who can control water nearby." I heard a voice say with a sarcastic tone, sounded like the blondie from earlier. A small water snake wrapped around my neck then licked my face and went back into the water.

"Arisa." I said

"It's Arisawa." She sighed. "Get on."

In front of me some of the water turned into a small canoe made up of ice. Wind and Water combination. I got in. She got in with me.

"Now what would have happened had I died back there. You would have been stuck." She said. I snorted and looked away. "Thank you Arisawa." She said.

"Yeah, Yeah." I shooed her. Suddenly I'm surrounded by water. This shit again. I start struggling and she released the hold. I start gasping for air. "Thank you Arisa." I said. She smiled

"Close enough. Where you heading." She asked

"Holy." I said

She twirled her fingers and suddenly we shot forward on the ice boat. I held on. Motion sickness I thought as my stomach turned.

"What do you know about the Omnigon?" Blondie asked after a few minutes.

"Not much, but if you want after my mission is complete we can go check out the Exodia and see if anything is hidden in the ruins, I'm sure the underground library got information on it." I replied.

"Deal. We're hear." She said as the boat docked.

"That was... quick?" I said confused.

"We were moving close to light speed. It's like a 5 minute ride. Where we go from here."

"I was going to say Asuna City, but that giant purple castle tells me that's wear we need to go." I said.

"That is Asuna City." Arisa said. "Or what's left of it."

"What do you mean?"

"I used to live here, Maru and some red haired lady came about 8 years back and wiped the city clean. Then build this castle on top of it." She said.

"8 years, so you met John at that time?" I asked

"Yeah those of us who managed to escape Maru's wrath grouped together and rendezvous with John who already set up a base within Main City."

"You and John dated?"

"No what is that?" She asked had to laugh a bit.

"It's when two people who like each other take a step forward and do stuff like kiss and hold hands and stuff." I've realized my cheeks were hot.

"Your face is all red Lightning." Arisa said.

"Don't look at my face." I snapped

"So what's a kiss." Arisa said super close to my face.

"Move. You clearly know what that is." I pushed her. "Let's head to that castle."

"You're allowing me to tag along?"

"You would follow me anyway. Keyshia has shown me that the hard way." She's probably on her way here right now. I sighed and started walking.

"Keyshia? she's that girl I fought?" Arisa asked.
