Let's get started.

I usually start my training with the following activity:

Pull out your notebook and begin writing. Writing helps you remember things better so when you're done you'll remember the important things I taught you. Writing things also helps you remember things well.

Let's begin. Pull out your pen and notebook or load up your favorite note application and get ready to write.

In 2 minutes write down the "Top 10 Things You're Proud Of"

It can be anything. You can write any accomplishment you are proud of. It could be: * finishing high school
* going to college
* finishing college

* raising your kid or X number of kids as a single­mom or dad
* saved a certain amount of money
* got a job as X
* had an award (lots of awards or one award, it doesn't matter an award is an award, I was best in math in kindergarden)

* made your mom or dad proud
* got married
* Got a boyfriend or girlfriend
* Started attending church and really paying attention

Kevin's list of 10 things he's proud of includes:

1. Being able to overcome shyness and have a job in sales.
2. At age 19 I made my first six figure income selling properties.
3. I'm able to put limitations to good use.
4. I traveled out of the country (Malaysia) to attend a business developers training on my own funding.
5. I've been debt free since age 24.
6. I built an insurance marketing website that hit number 1 in Google, Yahoo and others search engines in 2005.
7. I helped a few start­up companies grow and make a few million.
8. I helped a few hundred people find work by teaching them to overcome their fears and shyness.
9. I'm location independent and live with less than 100 things.
10. I 'm able to persuade the love of my life to partner with me and we've been together for 7 years. We already broke up =',c

Now it's your turn. Head over to the next part and write them down. No accomplishment is too small or insignificant.

This book is about you not about me.

If you can learn to word your accomplishments in a way that makes you feel good about yourself even if it might sound a bit "mayabang" or proud because you should be.
You have accomplishments that are worth talking about.

Feel free to add more than ten. This will be very useful for your job application and later in life. Now start writing. If it makes you feel good remembering it, just write it down till you get to 10. You can get to more than 10 as long as you hit a minimum of 10.

In 2 minutes write down: your 10 nice things other people say about you:

It's really important that you write down a minimum of 10 if you have more, and I know you do, it would be much better.

Never feel that you are bragging about anything. Know what you have so you can use it well.

People don't usually succeed because they immediately gained a new ability. They do because they learned to use their abilities (what they have) really well and you have many abilities you might not know that you have now is the time to discover them.

I'm pretty sure there are a few things your mom and dad said. If they didn't say anything nice maybe your friends might have or your teacher, mentor, boss, priest, pastor, or some random stranger said something nice about you.

Or maybe you read an article or a book that resonates with you because the author wrote about somebody who fits your description.
