✵ LYRA ✵
I stared at myself in the mirror before walking out of my room, wrapped in an oversized towel and heading to the indoor pool that James had invited me over to.
"Sweetie? Where are you going?" My mother asked me, looking at me up and down and possibly wondering whether I was naked under the light grey sweater, while wearing dark grey, knee-high stockings. I could tell that she was annoyed and angered by the clothing I was wearing, but I guess she dismissed it after realising I was drunk and skipping through the corridors.
"To entertain myself." I sloppily responded, blushing lightly as I thought of my own personal Adonis.
"Okay." My mother awkwardly responded. Just before I left, I turned around to face her and called out to her, "Why do you hate me, mother?" I emphasised on her maternal title, hoping she realised that she wasn't meant to as my mother.
"I don't hate you. I just don't know-" Before she could complete her sentence, my father intervened and walked her to their room, "Goodnight dear and please make sure not to get caught dressed like that, you are not at home." My father instructed, still playing the paternal role, while being desperate to talk to my mother... in private.
I shrugged my shoulders and made my way to the pool, only to find James already inside it, naked. The little blue waves rippled around him as he stood still, staring at the view out of the window. The night sky was dark, yet sparkled with stars, distracting him from watching me strip myself completely as I slowly walked into the pool. The place was light up with dim, warm yellow lights. The walls were sculpted in a curved shape, towering above the pool with the atmospheric feel of a cave. One side of the room was made of glass, granting the visitors a view of the city lights, that lay below us, and the night sky with its bright stars. We were staying on a guesthouse that was built on top of a mountain. On the walls that were opposite the giant window was plain with just a door for entry and exit, in front of it were two white cushion like chairs that came with a matching table. Glasses of wine were on display in the low object. Looking around more, I noticed a curve like wave object that was pouring out water from it, making it fall straight into the pool.
On stepping into the pool, I was taken aback by the warm temperature of the blue liquid, I was expecting it to be cold but I guess James had the pool heaters switched on. "James." I called out to him, stopping in my steps the second I realised that the water was high enough to cover my breasts.
Smiling, he turned around and walked towards me. I watched his slow yet anticipating moves as my mind started to run through a checklist of everything that could go wrong with us being here... alone... together... and naked. Pushing away the thoughts, I pulled my man's head towards me, eagerly kissing him with hunger as we stood still.
He pulled himself off of me and smiled down at me, "I was wondering if I was going to have to spend the rest of the night on my own." He chuckled as he spoke, looking into my eyes before planting a kiss on the top of my head.
"I would never do that to you." I smiled as I held onto his arms that held onto my waist.
"You're naked." He declared, looking down at my naked skin that was barely covered thanks to water being transparent. Why did it have to be transparent? But I'm glad it is, now he can see me through the transparency... but what if someone else sees me? Fuck! This is confusing.
"So are you." I happily pointed out as I looked down to see no clothing or material on him.
"Shall we swim?" He offered and I nodded before abandoning his side to swim towards the mini waterfall machine that caved over my head. "This is nice." I commented, once he had his head out of the water and stood beside me.
"I agree." He simply said before handing me the glasses of vodka that laid beside the curved wave. "Were those here all along?" I asked him, looking at him curiously.
"I've had different types of drinks laying beside the pool before you even got here." He informed me, pointing out at the various glasses of drinks that were spread across the poolside. I nodded before gulping down the whole glass so that it was empty in my hand. I turned to face him, only to find him watching me like a predator. Curling my arms around my waist, I started to feel so small in front of him.
"I want you." He whispered before placing the glass on the edge of the pool and moving closer towards me. His arms pulled me close to him as his lips crashed against my lips, making me release a moan into his mouth. Before he knew it, I gasped for air, pulling us apart, and swimming a little away from him.
"Come back." He lowly said before swimming towards me and crashing his lips against mine. But we were both still moving in the water, trying to float while staying together. Our lips moulded together as his hands rubbed against my skin, making me flare up like a torch.
"James." I moaned as I pulled back a few seconds for air. But my voice was covered up by the voice of another being. Turning around in the deep waters, I caught sight of an unfamiliar femininity. "What are you doing?" She asked, glaring at me and making me wrap my arms around my chest, trying to hid my breasts that were unclear for her sight.
"Lyra!" My mother's voice chimed in as her silhouette covered the light in the doorway. My mother's loud voice started to ring in my head, bringing me back to reality and sobering me up. It seemed to have the same effect on James, since he had clenched his hands in the water. "Get out of the waters at once!" My mother ordered, trying to get my attention. But I ignored her and chose to stay focused on James who was too busy avoiding me.
