*Calum's P.O.V.*

I had just gotten home from band practice with the boys. I ran by the mail box and grabbed everything inside it. When I got inside I noticed I had received a letter from my Aunt and Uncle who live in Oklahoma. (state in the U.S.) The letter wrote:

Dear Calum,

We are so happy to be sending you this letter. We thought we would write to you and tell you that your Uncle and I just had a baby girl named Analise Nicole Watson.

We thought you might enjoy seeing her, and staying here for a while over the summer break. I have already spoken to your Mum about it and she said it was okay for you to come.

By the time you get this letter you should have a week before your flight leaves for Oklahoma.

We hope that you will take this time to tell your friends and family the news! You'll be gone almost all summer!!

The whole fucking summer, are you serious? Why would my Mum agree to this, I have the band's career to worry about. This is so unfair. I obviously want to see my cousin, but only for a week or two not three months. What am I going to tell the boys.

Tell the boys to head over to my house immediately, we need to discuss something important now.

Ashy Irwin:

What do you need to tell us that is so important? Can't it wait until tomorrow?

Calum:

No, just text the boys and get over here now.

*The boys arrive at Calum's*

"Calum what the hell was so important you had to drag us all over here?" Michael looked very displeased cause of missing dinner. "I have some good news and bad news. The good news, my cousin Analise Nicole Watson was born about a week ago in Tulsa, Oklahoma. (THE U.S.)" I suddenly felt very nervous. "That's cool but why does that involve us?" Luke said, annoyed at the fact Calum wasn't getting to the point. "Well the bad news is that my Mum agreed to send me to Oklahoma for the summer to bond with my baby cousin and meet more of my family." I took a deep breath hoping I wasn't about to witness yelling. "What the fuck your mum can't do that." Ashton complained. "Like, I understand her wanting you there for a week or two but not three whole months. What is the band going to do? We can't perform gigs without you!" Ashton looked very confused and disappointed. "Trust me I'm just as pissed as all of you, but I can't do anything." We all looked at each other worried as hell. Quietly I said "I leave Friday morning." As I figured they all heard me. They were shocked, but to be honest I felt like crying. They could tell. Ashton, Luke, and Michael all stood up and gave me a hug. "I guess we will just have to wait until you get back then." Ashton said knowing there was nothing there was nothing he or anyone else could do.

They all left my house after telling them the news. I planned on meeting with them every day to hang out and practice until I leave Friday morning. It was very difficult leaving knowing my music career could possibly be on the line, but I didn't have a choice. Sure, I was excited to see Analise because I don't have any other cousins, but at the same time I just don't feel like it's worth what it is to go down there for three months.
