finally, the next week came rolling around. ella found herself excited to see ashton again. she wanted to actually talk to him today. she grabbed the movie and her phone and drove off to the video store. she was super giddy, skipping out of her car and into the store.

she opened the door and became disappointed when she noticed ashton wasn't there. it was the usual guy who worked there for literal ages. 

she shown a respectful smile and walked over to the guy.

"hello." she greeted the man.

"hi. are you returning that?" the man pointed to dvd in her hand.

"uh yeah." ella passed the movie to him.

she was watching him scan the movie and checking if the right disk was inside. the usual.

ella opened her mouth to speak but closed it immediately. she decided on asking what she thought in the first place.

"is ashton here?" ella nervously rubbed her arm.

"he's on break, but he should be here any-" the ringing of the bell of the door cut him off. ashton was here.

you can just see his face light up when he noticed ella standing at the counter. he waved at her and she waved back. 

"ashton, finish this up for me ok? i'm going on break."  the man told him. ashton nodded and went behind the counter. 

"so what did you think?" ashton asked while pulling out more movies "of the movie of course." he giggled. ella found his laugh adorable. 

"loved it, as usual." she giggled.

ashton signaled her to follow him, while he put the returned movies away. they walked, talked, and laughed together, while putting away the films.

ashton really liked ella and vice versa. ella and ashton constantly joked around and just enjoyed each others company.

finally they were done putting back every returned movie. the store wasn't busy at all, in fact, it was empty. 

ashton took ella's hand and brought her to sit by him on the ground, using the shelves as a back rest.

ella didn't even realize that she's been in the store with ashton for a few hours. his shift was already almost over.

"hey ella." ashton looked over to ella.

"yes, ashton." she joked, sounding sophisticated. he giggled.

"you wanna get some uh dinner after my shift? we haven't eaten in hours." he stuttered through some words.

"sure, sounds fun." apparently ella finds fun in eating. 

"cool." ashton began to sound giddy. he helped her up and led her out the store. they locked it up and went to dinner.
