ashton and ella finally considered each other as a couple. i mean, a deal is a deal right? but the deal didn't matter because one, they were joking, and two, it would've happened eventually, oh and three, they liked each other so forget the deal. it was love. 

ella decided to surprise ashton while he was at work. she casually walked in, when she noticed a girl talking to ashton. before ashton could see ella, she hid behind a shelf, spying on the them. the girl left, carrying a movie. before ella could do anything ashton called out to her.

"you know, i saw you ella." he laughed. ella stepped away from the shelf walking slowly to ashton. she nervously laughed while rubbing her arm.

"so, who was that?" ella asked after a while. ashton giggled which left ella confused.

"do you wanna know?" ashton sang while speaking, imitating the arctic monkey's song.

"yes i wanna know." ella said sternly, holding her ground.

"well," ashton giggled, "that was a customer."  ella let out a sigh.

"i'm sorry, it's just that," she stopped to think of the right word, "i, you know, get all insecure and jealous and it's just a thing that-" ashton put a finger up to her lips to shush her.

"ella it's alright. i get jealous too. almost everyone does." he shrugged. she nodded while smiling. ashton's expression lit up when he saw her smile. he grabbed her hand, leading her to the storage/break room. 

he pressed his body to hers, while her hands were placed on his chest.

"i don't wanna rush things." ashton said, barely above a whisper.

"no, no you're doing great." ella laughed. she looked up at him as he inched his face closer. he placed his lips on hers, synchronizing every move the other one made. ella's hands moved from his chest to his hair, running her fingers through. she ruffled it up, making it all messy. they laughed through the kiss until they detached. 

"i told you i'd get that kiss." ashton smirked.

"yeah, yeah whatever." she laughed while lightly shoving his arm.

ella laughed, noticing how messy she got ashton's hair. ashton eventually noticed and squealed when he saw. ella was now laughing harder, as they approached the door back to the store. they heard footsteps approaching and they exchanged shocked glances. they were doing a lot of hand signals that made no sense. ashton moved a box out from under the table and let ella hide under it. he covered her using the box.

just as ashton hid her, his boss walked in.

"hey ashton, were you taking a break." his boss asked. ashton nodded and his boss laughed.

"what's up with your hair ashton?" his boss joked. ashton hesitated his answer.

"um, well, the movies on this shelf fell on me." ashton pointed at the single shelf with movies that still needed a barcode sticker. ella stifled a laugh at his response. how creative. his boss nodded and laughed. when his boss left the room, ashton helped ella out from her spot, and she had a devious smirk on her face. 

"what?" ashton asked.

"did it hurt," ella stifled a laugh, "when the movies fell on you." she burst out laughing.

"ha. ha." ashton sarcastically laughed as they walked into the store with their fingers entwined. 

ashton went back behind the counter, ella sitting in a chair near him. ella watched as he quickly scanned and put away movies.

"hey ash, my parents are in town this weekend and i was wondering," ella shrugged, " do you maybe wanna meet them?" she batted her eyelashes. 

"um i've never met anyone's parents before and-"

"it's okay ash, you don't have to meet them," she chuckled, "i was just wondering. not gonna pressure you into anything."

"oh okay. but i mean i can." he smiled and ella burst into happiness.

"cool! thank you ashton!" she hopped up and down and planted a kiss on his cheek. 

"what if they don't like me?" he questioned.

"i don't care because i like you." she buried her face in his shoulder.

"i like you too." ashton mumbled into her hair, leading to small giggles.
