Chapter 8

Chapter 8...

Me and Henry did it as we continued to moan. We then reached our end and came. "Oh...Henry..." I moaned quietly to him. He also did a quiet low moan. "Ricken..." He said to me. We both fell asleep. We hoped that nothing that bad can ruin this moment we are having. I hate anything that could ruin this moment.

The next day...

Me and Henry woke up, cleaned and got dressed. We headed out of my tent. We continued to walk off. Until we got attacked by Risen. Many people of Ylisse began to scream. I also screamed and got one of my tombs. Henry noticed a Risen behind me and used his Ruin tomb on it before the Risen can kill me. I sighed in relief. "Thank you, Henry!" I said to him. I am eternally grateful to him. "Come on! Let's fight, together!" He said to me. I nodded and got my Elwind tomb.

We fought, together.

The other troops, even Chrom dealt with the other Risen. We were lucky though. No one died, thank god. Only there is injuries though. Me and Henry sighed and we entered my tent. We both lied down. We cuddled and we fell asleep, tired from the battle.

4 hours later...

Me and Henry woke up to see everybody out of their tents. We quietly panicked. What if they left us alone to deal with enemies? Oh wait, nope they didn't. The reason why I said this because me and Henry heard Lissa's giggling. We went out to find the source, only to see it was coming from the mess hall. "What's going on?" I asked to Lissa. Lissa giggled and jumped on me. "It's Laurent's birthday today!" She said to me. (Fun fact: Laurent's birthday is on April 25th. XD)

Laurent...Laurent! "Ooh, somebody's birthday is today!" Henry said in excitement. I nodded while smiling at Henry. "Maribelle is making the cake!" Lissa said in excitement. I looked around. Many people were waiting for Laurent. Wait...this is a surprise party! I found Miriel and I went to talk to her. "Where's Laurent?" I asked to her. "I told him to get some fresh air for hours. These hours are enough to get this celebration for his birthday ready." She replied to me. I nodded at her, smiling.

After we got the party ready, we waited for Laurent to come in. We blew out the lanterns to increase the surprise. We were hiding in different spots. Me, Henry, Virion, and Noire were hiding under one of the tables. We heard footsteps. Oh snap! He's here! He then lit a lantern, only to see the surprise. "What the-" He said but was cut off.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LAURENT!!!!!!"

He was surprised by us yelling this at him. He then laughed. "I almost had a heart attack!" He said. We laughed. "Thanks, guys." Laurent said. Lissa thought of an idea. "I got it!" Lissa said and took Laurent's hand. "Huh?" Laurent said and they left. We stood in silence. What was Lissa thinking?

Minutes later...

We waited until we saw Lissa come in. "Miriel!" She said, which got Miriel's attention. "Hm?" Miriel said. "Say hello to your birthday son!" Lissa squealed and pushed Laurent in the tent slowly and softly. My, my. Lissa had changed him. He was not wearing his hat. He was in a nice wafuku black kimono. His hair had been polished up. His brown hair was shining. We clapped for him. He nodded.

We sang happy birthday to him while Laurent smiled. We had the cake Maribelle baked. It was so delicious. It was chocolate with light blue frosting along with berries like strawberries and cherries.

After they ate...

All of us were full from the birthday party for Laurent. Me and Henry lied down as we calmed down. Maybe this wasn't gonna be bad after all.

Maybe, just maybe.
