Chp. 20

~Last Time~

"Ok...Ok...*sigh*" Lucy said as she was wiping a tear away from her eye

Natsu just folded his arms across his chest for he was embarrassed for three things.

1. For crying in her presents

2. For falling in her trap and

3. For being caught by being jealous – yes others knew but he didn't want Lucy to know at all and what makes it worse was being laughed at by Lucy herself

Natsu never though he'd see the day a girl would ever make him feel this way.

"I was gone 2 months haw?" Lucy asked with a smile as she shifted her body sideways

Natsu still with a small hint of pink in his cheeks tried playing cool as he just gave Lucy a confused look as he answered her question.

"Yeah why?"

"Then I want you to listen to me closely and carefully." Lucy started as she gave him a frown to show how serious she was about this whole situation "Since the "your mine" thing is over my relationship with Loki is none of your business." She concluded as she gave the quotation mark sign with her fingers.

"!" was the only expression he had on. He was taken aback by her words, pupils smaller then he has ever had them before, eyebrows frowned meeting in the middle of his face, pissed & heartbroken because she was dating someone that wasn't him.

"I'm no longer your toy so I can date whomever I want" Lucy continued as she was walking away

This brought Natsu back from his shock state with pure rage at her comment. Grabbing her by the arm, pulling her back to him.

"I won't let that happen!" He shouted loud enough for the students around them could hear.

Lucy without thinking shouted back

"Try and stop me!" as she stomped on his foot hard enough to make him cry out in pain and let her go. Lucy took this opportunity and fled the scene.

"Dammit!" Natsu spat as he recovered from his injury "Oh I'll stop you for sure Luce" he added with a smirk.

Natsu ran after her, Once he caught up to her Lucy once again tried to pull another stunt to get away from him however for every idea she had Natsu was still by her side not leaving her for anything. And that was only Lunch time.

Throughout the rest of the day Natsu did stay at Lucy's side not leaving her for a second.............well he did leave her alone for classes and whenever she needed to go to the restroom.

It was the last class of the day and of course Natsu and Lucy were in the class along with Gray and a few others.

The class was doing a class project and Lucy sat in the front with Gray while Natsu sat behind him as Juvia sat behind Lucy.

Now you may be asking why would Natsu sit behind Lucy? Well that's simple Sinsei noticed both teams couldn't do much due to Natsu bugging Lucy and Juvia hanging on Gray like a monkey and moved their sets hoping it would help somewhat.

Now Juvia was crying while biting on her hanky and Natsu was upset of his new setting place.

Natsu then noticed Lucy and Gray working very close yet writing notes to each other.
