Lucy was great for a few reasons and he looking for her and fixing her right up in a warm safe environment was one of them

Natsu gave a small soft smile. His heart filled with happiness that he was able to hear her say those words to him. And frankly loved the fact that she wasn't trying to leave him as she would normally do like if he was the plague.

The pinkette snapped his neck up towards her when she spoke 

But!? - he thought as his heart was beating a hundred miles per minute , panic going through him

The beautiful blond slowly looked up with a confused expression on her face as she stared at Natsu in the eyes.

"Why am I in your clothes?" She asked

A huge wave a relief washed over him just to be replaced by...fear maybe?

"O-oh about that..." he stammered scratching the back of his neck.

Lucy knew he was stalling for some odd reason and she didn't know why?

"Where are my clothes?" she pushed trying to speed up the process as she crossed her arms under her chest

"Are you hungry? You must be starving since you haven't eaten in days let m-"

"Where are my clothes Natsu!?" Lucy shouted interrupting him using his name knowing that would be the only way to give up the answers she's looking for.

As for the pinkette hearing his name coming out of her lips were very irresistible and couldn't denier her anything even if he wanted to. It was like the word 'no' wasn't in his books whenever it came to her saying his name.

Sighing he gave in as he hung his head for a bit, taking a big breath he looked up only for his eyes to wonder around the room and having a new interest on how the windows needed cleaning and how the birds were up and about having a wonderful day as he began to speak.

"Your clothes were badly blooded so I tried to wash them...." He paused as he began to tug on his muffler.

"And?" Lucy asked 

Lucy didn't understand at all why he was acting so scared for? If anything she thought it was sweet of him to take the time of day and wash her clothing. But of course she would never admit to it, especially not to him.

Looking down he spoke the last of his short story as he cover his face with the palms of his hands.

"And...When I went back to put them in the dryer turns out I had them on high so they tore to shreds." He spoke the last words fast and low so she wouldn't hear, but unfortunately for him, Lucy was close enough to hear it.

Silence took over as Natsu was waiting for Lucy to react but nothing happened so he slowly looked up to her and when he did...

"Are you kidding me!?" he shouted slamming her hand on the bed as she leaned upwards
