In the process of editing

Each person in the crowd moves as if unseeing hands drag them this way and that, pulling their eyes to one thing and then another. They respond in predictable ways, each of them with a goal to achieve for the day. But underneath that is free will, the ability to truly choose their own path. Each of them all on auto-pilot, the most dangerous mode a human being can slip into.

"Now everyone give it up for the contestants of the recreational games!"Present Mic announced.

In the middle of the games, you made it back to the area you were sitting with Serah. You ran to your seat but noticed that Serah wasn't there.  Great, now your greatest fears were settling in. You didn't even know what to do at this moment. You told her to stay still and you know she would listen to you, so she must of be coerced into leaving her spot...or forced? But how and who did it?

"Did you see a little girl sitting here?!" you asked with a worried tone.

"Huh?" a person questioned, "No sorry."

"Hey did you see a little girl here?"

"Sorry, now sit down and enjoy the competition!"

You shuffled down the staircase, your eyes flickering back and forth. You were in a real problem. You couldn't call her by her real name for fear of exposing her identity but you couldn't even conjure how she was taken as a normal kid.

You ran up the stairs and looked around, not knowing where to start. Your heart froze and your stomach turned icy as you saw her hat laying on the ground. You ran towards the hat and picked it up.

"Serah...he must really have an interest in you. This is exactly I was afraid of when I came back to this town-"

"LISTEN UP!" someone yelled into the microphone system.

You ran back out to the entrance of the seating area to see some low-class villains from the USJ incident with Serah in their grasp. You glared at them and were a bit bewildered on how they even escaped. But you must say, they were brazen to think they would get away with this.

"What is going on?" asked Midnight as she was getting ready to tear her sleeve until one of the villains used his quirk to immobilize her.

"Nuh uh uh," the 'leader' of the pack stated, "You see I can't have you harm the merchandise, especially since I need her to lure in the person I want most."

"Let go of me!" Serah yelled while attempting to get free until the leader placed his hand over Serah's mouth to keep her quiet.

"Serah..." you muttered as a gust of wind encircled around your being and your white feathers came around you, not drawing any attention to the crowds focus on the brazen group of villains.

"I will do everything in my power to protect you..." you muttered, "Even if it costs me my life."

"I can't do that..." he thought, "I need to avenge my fallen comrades from the so-called 'hero' the Paragon of Justice. At first, I thought by kidnapping a random kid, she would come but having the girl who she adores is even a better prize."

"Let her go!" Midnight yelled unable to do anything due to her being paralyzed.

"Looks like you are unable to do anything to take action to those words," another villain yelled.

"Come on!" yelled another hero, "We must save the girl!"

"Right behind you!" a hero said as they charged towards the villains until they body were pushed away from the group of villains, along with the students around the stadium.
