You thought as you watched as the once scarlet blood that had oozed down his blade in thick droplets now spattered the peeling linoleum and had quickly blackened in the heat. The blood that had flowed so freely from the severed neck now lay in pools around the corpse and soaked into his a dark combat suit, plated with metal armor that was garnished like some Halloween dummy.

You looked up to see countless Nomu's swarm around the city causing havoc and destruction.he incandescent flames suddenly erupted scattering fragmented glass and debris several yards away. The chillness of the stale, city air was devoured by the scorching blazes of the vicious element. People from houses along the street ran out in their dressing gowns onto the road and huddled together to witness a roaring fire devastating the buildings in the city.

"Is this your mindset now?" you questioned, "Hurting countless heroes that bask in the glory of being heroes?"

"It is my duty to cleanse society of false heroes," he answered turning around to look at you, "You would understand considering that my beliefs don't exactly fall short of yours."

"Even though that is the case," you replied, "Our path differed the moment you allied yourself with the brat."

You jumped up into the air dodging his jagged blade from getting a scratch on you. In midair, a gust of feathers swirled around your being, revealing your hero form and causing you to extend your wings out and fly out of his range.

Putting him to the side, you noticed that one of the Nomu's rampant on the street held an innocent child in its claws. These creatures were the very creatures that attempted to ingest Serah. Soon enough struck one down to the ground.

It slowly rose from the ground, you blasted through the air, faster than any hero in the area. You were unaware of your emotions at the moment, putting aside your pain and placing your obligation, no, need to strike the Nomu down.

Dodging one of its claws your way, you began your signature spin move. You were a whirl of white and as you struck the back of the Nomu's neck, red. The Heroes saved the kid from the now deceased Nomu's claws.

You landed on the street and looked down at one Nomu moving closer towards you getting ready to land a punch until Endeavor came beside you and fired a fist his way, pushing him back.

"Endeavor," the other heroes screamed, "And Beloved."

Soon the Nomu regenerated its skin and screeched, charging towards Endeavor to which Endeavor reached for his brain and incinerated his cells, killing the Nomu.

"Incinerated cells can't regenerate." Endeavor boasted.

"Glad there is a brain in there," you replied as you extended your wings.

"A thank you would be nice...or a date," Endeavor stated smugly causing you to snicker at his player ways.

"Coming from a married man with kids...such tenacity," you replied leaping off the ground at the speed of sound. Like a bullet, you shot through the air, leaping off a building so that the Nomu would be thrown off by your path, slicing its arm. Soon you redirected your flight path and entered another one of your spiral attacks, striking down the Nomu to the ground.

Before it can move to get up, you twirled your blades through the air and stabbed them into the Nomu's eye. You landed behind the now blinded Nomu, glaring down at it with disgust.

"I'll make this quick and painless. You slammed your hand down on your blade, ripping another pair of blades out. You slashed from the base of the Nomu's head all the way down to its shoulder blades, causing it fall hard against the ground with no ability to regenerate.
