"When I said those words, I was just so angry at the fact you left me with no explanation 5 years ago and then you didn't even tell me about your quirk...but I guess there is no argument there since I didn't fully tell you about mine," Toshinori said, "But the fact that you left me so that I can continue to be the symbol of peace and to protect our child...is beyond words. You did everything you did for the best interest of society, for me, and for Serah-"

Within an instant, Toshinori was on the floor, growling in pain as he tried to prop himself up onto his elbows.

"Hana I'm-" he tried to gasp, the words choking in his throat as he lifted his head enough to see who had thrown the punch only to be grabbed by his neck, wrenching him upwards.

"I'm not in the mood for this," you began.

"I know you're angry..."He didn't get to finish as your eyes narrowed and he threw him against the wall, forcing the air from his lungs and suspending him effortlessly so his feet couldn't touch the ground. Considering the fact that he was much taller than you, this was an accomplishment to your strength.

"Now you listen and you listen closely Toshinori," you began, your serious tone rumbling threateningly in your chest, "I want nothing to do with you. You made it very clear that day you wanted to end things-"

"Before you told me you had my child!" Toshinori protested.

"And if I didn't tell you, you wouldn't be here, right?" you questioned, "What changed your mind all of a sudden? You could have easily disregarded what I told you that day after you broke up with me and continue to live your life as the symbol of peace and justice, the number one hero."

"...How can I be the number one hero to the world when I couldn't be to the only person that I love and promised..." Toshinori growled out of frustration.

You could see it in his eyes, he was probably thinking how the sweet and shy angel he had grown to know, oozing with charm and a cheeky twinkle in his eye was now an enraged, broken behemoth of a woman pinning him against the wall. If you wanted to so badly, you could have ended his career and from the anger that was swirling around you, you were considering it. But the thought of Serah was literally saving him from getting killed and even though he ended it with you... and you hated him so much...your heart couldn't let you deny the fact that you still loved him.

"How sweet," you snarled, tightening your grip just enough that Toshinori below you began to squirm. "You're lucky you're gonna be able to walk away from this only because of Serah. But I will tell you this much if you do not leave me and Serah alone, I'll end you. Got it?"

Though Toshinoris' courage wanted to fail him from your threat, you knew from the look in his eyes and he wasn't going to give up that easily. That was something that changed since 5 years ago.

"I am not going to do that!" Toshinori growled as he grabbed your wrist, "I am not going to allow you to run away from me and separate her from me anymore! I am not going to let you out of my grip no longer! So you can beat me up as much as you want to let out your pent up anger at me but we both know you still love me the same way I still love you."

Without warning you threw Toshinori to the side, launching him so he fell heavily to the ground in an undignified heap. He gingerly picked himself up, wiping away the thick blood that had begun congealing under his nose and at the side of his mouth.

"This reminds me of our training days," Toshinori said, "I remember how badly you wanted to help me build up my endurance and would throw many different styles of attacks my way...those days and even now, you still care."

You scoffed inwardly, you already knew he was hitting the right trigger points. You didn't want to hear any more of what he had to say and began to walk towards the door to the roof, only to be grabbed by your wrist. You gasped when he pulled you to him and embraced you from behind. You blushed, feeling his face snuggling in your hair and felt his lips plant a light kiss on your neck.
