The hospital bed was warm on your cold skin.
Dead flowers and petals littered around you.
You inhaled deeply, feeling like the world had become cleaner.
Nothing hurt, you didn't need to cough.
To feel this strange emptiness inside your lungs, it was amazing. It felt as though life had changed and the world had become brighter than ever.
But something else was missing.
Where was Taehyung?
You found your phone after rummaging through the hospital drawers and you called him.
"Hello?" Taehyung questioned, his voice deep and smooth over the phone. Almost as beautiful as it was in real life.
"Tae, it's Y/N, where are you?" You questioned.
And the line went dead, Taehyung had hung up on you. For just a moment, you felt sick to your stomach. What had you done wrong?
You sat up in your hospital bed and looked down at yourself, the scars still healing on your skin. It was a painful sight.
Had Taehyung left you to die?
It felt like it, like the world had left you in the background, like Tae never cared.
The room was silent, until your sob broke through your lips. It was loud, cracked, and pathetic. But crying made it better.
Your tears were hotter than hell as they rolled down your cheeks, you probably looked like a trainwreck, but you didn't care.
What were you supposed to do in this twisted nightmare?
What could you do?
