America had decided to throw a party for Christmas, much to the delight of Finland. Everyone was invited and everyone, and I mean everyone, showed up. America luckily had a large home to house all the guests. The Nordics were all over the place, including Sealand. The youngest was hanging around with all the other micro nations, Iceland was talking with Hong Kong, Denmark was having a drinking contest with America and Prussia, Sweden was with Finland while the smaller country went around and chatted with others. Norway was mysteriously absent from the night festivities. “Hey papa? What were the Viking days like around this time?” Sealand asked Sweden, tugging on the older’s sleeve. Everyone quieted down and turned to look. “Why do you ask?” “Well, everyone here knows about Christmas during these times yet not back when you were a Viking. So what was it like?” Sweden looked down at his ‘son’ before nodding over to Denmark who was still, surprisingly, sober. “Ask Denmark. He was always with others at this time of year. I was mostly away on adventures.” Matthias looked up and gave a small whine. “Why do I have to tell him?! I didn’t always hang around during Christmas! You know I liked to be by myself in the mountains!” “You liked to be alone?” Prussia slurred, obviously drunk. “Yeah. Sweden wasn’t always so scary and stoic back then also.” “Really?” Tino asked in curiosity and surprise. “Yup! Always, well not always, had a smile. Most of the time it was small but it was still there!” “Let’s stop talking about me and about how ruthless you were in those days!” Sweden challenged, making Denmark glare at him. “I may have been ruthless but I kicked your ass!” “ only When Lukas was there to stop me from beating the shit out of you!” “Oh yeah?! Let’s go! Right here, right now!” Matthias snarled, pulling out his battle axe. Sweden pulled a spear out of no where and they both got into battle stances. They leapt at each other, their weapons clashing. The fight went on for ten minutes, both foes sustaining injuries from the other. Just as Denmark was about to attack Berwald again a loud snarl came from the direction of the stairs. Everyone slowly turned along with the two fighters to stare at the angry Norwegian who had a dark aura, even darker than Russia’s, surrounding him. In his left hand, he held a sword that gleamed in the light that bounced off it, adding a sinister look to it. “Stop fighting or I will shove this sword so far up both your asses that you will be begging for mommy and you won’t be able to walk, at all, for the next week!” Norway snarled with so much malice that even Russia and Belarus cowered. “Y-yes sir!” Matthias yelped while Berwald took a step back. Giving a small nod, Lukas turned back around and stalked off to wherever he was before. “Saying I’m ruthless when we completely forgot about how Norge acted as a Viking. I still have nightmares from the last time we didn’t stop fighting when he told us to.” Denmark said with a shiver. Sweden nodded mutely next to him. “I’m sleeping with my spear under my pillow tonight. And a gun.” Berwald said. “Was he really that bad when he was a Viking?” Iceland asked, eyes gleaming with curiosity at the strange behavior. “Bad? BAD?! He was a lunatic during the Viking ages! He literally had no soul back then! He killed more than me and Sweden combined! And you say Bad?!” Denmark hissed as his breathing quickened. “K-kill...?” Tino stuttered in fear. “Keep talking Dane. See what happens to you tonight.” Lukas’s voice returned making everyone yelp or cry out in fear. Denmark literally broke down and started to cry from how scared he was. “I think you and Iceland should stay at my place. Norway is going to go on a rampage again. Better yet, how about everyone come over. Can’t risk leaving any victims to face Lukas’s wrath.” Sweden said before taking a hold of Finland and Sealand and running out of there with the other nations close behind. The next day, there were fires and destruction in every country. And in the middle of it all was Norway.
