Featuring England and Norway

(Norway P.O.V)

I gave a small chuckle as I spent time with Romano, Prussia, and Canada. They were the only ones had felt comfortable around to show a little emotion. Prussia was currently flirting with Canada while Romano drew in his sketchbook, peeking up every once and a while in amusement. I checked my phone, noticing a message from my boyfriend, England. I was slightly happy that I would be able to talk with my lover, not thinking anything will go wrong. “I have something important to tell you…” Noticing the slight hesitation in the text, I grew slightly confused and worried. England never typed or talked like he was unsure. That could only mean that something really bad happened. “Sure. What is it?” I texted back, looking up as Canada pushed Prussia away and making him smack into the table. Romano snorted as Prussia whined in pain. “I’ve recently been talking to this guy… and he’s really sweet and kind. I don’t want to do this to you but, I just feel like we just aren’t working out. I know you don’t love me anymore and he makes me laugh so much. He stopped me from doing things that I never thought I would think of doing. He tells me he loves me and calls me baby every day and night. I hope you understand and we can still be friends.” My heart stopped and my eyes started to water a little bit. He was breaking up with me? For some random person? “I-I understand. We can still be friends. Just, what is his name? What is he like?” I texted back, not noticing the worried and confused glances sent to me by the other three. “His name is Jason. We met over the internet and he seems really nice. We’ve been talking for some time now and he really makes me happy. He is protective, funny, kind, makes jokes, and a lot of other things.” “He sounds like… a nice guy…” I typed, my heart practically being crushed under an invisible force (I thought about Star Wars while writing this) as I sniffed softly. I could hear small noises of shock as I felt something slide down my face. “Norway?” I looked up in shock to see Romano looking at me in worry, his sketchbook placed on the table. That was when I touched my face to feel the tears and i rubbed my eyes and shook my head. “I’m fine. Everything is fine. I’m just, texting England.” I choked out, my throat feeling tightened and making it more difficult to talk. “No you’re not. What is wrong.” Prussia demanded and I gave a sigh of defeat, pushing my phone over to read the text messages. “What the hell?!” Canada yelled, making us all jump in shock and surprise at the bluntness of his snap. “He is breaking up with you for some guy he met on the internet?!” Romano growled, eyes narrowed in rage. “Yeah. Don’t worry about it though. It’s fine.” “NO! NO IT ISN’T FINE!!” Prussia roared, clearly pissed at the british nation. “He shouldn’t be breaking up with you for someone he just met, on the internet no less, when you guys have been together for three years!” Canada snarled, grabbing my arm and dragging me to the bathroom, allowing me some privacy to clean my face and hide any details that could give away my turmoil before we went to the meeting. We walked into the meeting and I fell into the chair next to Finland. The meeting didn’t take long to start as France walked up to the podium, flipping his hair over his shoulder and winking at England who rolled his eyes before peeking at his phone. I felt my phone vibrate but I ignored it, paying attention to the french country. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I gave a slight jump of surprise. “You ok Lukas?” Tino whispered to me softly. I glanced around to make sure no one was paying attention before passing my phone over for Finland to read the texts. “WHAT?!” He yelled, making everyone turn to look at us. I grabbed his arm quickly, told Germany to continue the meeting and for Canada to copy the notes for me, before dragging the finnish man outside. “Could you not yell so loudly about it? I don’t need anyone else getting involved.” I whispered to him as we made distance from the meeting room. “But-” “No! England found someone and we should be happy for him.” “He broke your heart!” “As I have done to many others. We all have. You know as much as I do that whoever this guy is will always be human no matter what. He won’t be around forever.” “So you’re going to wait for him to come crawling back to you?” “No. If England does try something like that, he will find out the hard way that i’m not very lenient. He had his chance with me, and he threw that away.” I said, looking up at the clock to see the meeting was just about ending. “Just don’t worry about it, ok? Things like this always happen. We’ll just have to move on.”

(I honestly don't know what else to write. I only made this today as the events it is based off of happened today as well. No matter what, if you have had your heart broken by the one you loved, try to move on. In the words of my family, there are plenty of fish in the sea. Even if you don't think you will ever fall in love with someone ever again, in fear that your heart will be broken again, then it's understandable. I'm currently in that mindset. It's normal to be scared of heartbreak. It's almost as common as being scared of heights, bugs, or even death. That is why you try to move on. So you can live a normal life. Life is short and you need to enjoy it while you can. God, I sound like a therapist 😅. Everyone deserves a chance to happiness, and that includes you. If you don't feel like ever getting in a relationship, there is still your close friends and family that will always be there to keep you a float. Honestly, I would much rather not being in a relationship anymore, but that is my opinion.)
