Silent Goodbyes

Prussia looked up at the large building where the current meeting was being held. As per usual, he wasn't allowed to go by his baby brother. He didn't mind, he really didn't. Though it did hurt when his own younger sibling looked him over and seemed to just radiate disappoinment. Gilbert didn't blame him, Hungary, or Austria for that matter. He wouldn't want to be anywhere near himself either. It's been so long since he had even spent time with Spain or France but refused when he thought of all the work they must have. He remembered the large amounts of paperwork he himself had when he was a nation. Even if Prussia hated it with a passion, he wouldn't allow his nation to fall. Looks like all of that was a waste of time. The only few bright things left in his sad excuse of a life, was Canada, Gilbird, Romano, America, and Denmark. Canada was so innocent and forgotten that they immediately connected. Though Gilbert doubted France was anywhere near happy when Canada told him of being in a relationship with him. Gilbird has been his faithful companion for many, many years. Always by his side through the hardest times. Romano was also overlooked for his own, more cheerful, younger brother. This sparked a sort of, friendship, between the two even if it isn't to be expected. America and Denmark were his Awesome friends, even if they also didn't seem to want him there at times. They refused to leave Gilbert alone when they went out to drink or party, especially if he wasn't with the Bad Touch Trio. He loved each and every one of them. He knew that his time was coming. Prussia used to hate the fact of disappearing and joining the ancients. Now, he just wanted some peace and a long rest. His time as a Nation was over, no need to delay the inevitable. Canada, Gilbird, and even Romano were by his side as his breathes became shallow and uneven. They gave their final goodbyes as tears flowed down their cheeks, promising that they would never forget him. They promised him that they will tell the other Nations of the current events and they would keep the funeral small, just as Gilbert requested. Prussia gave a small smile at those declarations before closing his eyes and his breathing came to a stop. Gilbert looked down at the grieving group, resting a ghostly hand on Matthew's back as he wept in Romano's arms. "Gilbert." A male voice spoke up behind him, making Prussia turn around to stare at his father. Germania stretched out a hand, a small, welcoming smile stretched on his face. "Let's go home." Gilbert gave a large grin, stretching out his hand, and as they connected, the two slowly faded away.

(A/N: Yeah. I rushed this. I had no ideas but wanted to make something Sad. As we have learned now, I suck at sad scenes or anything sad related. Prussia is my Second most favorite Character. Maybe. I don't know anymore. I like a lot. I wanted to switch up the characters a bit since I tend to do Norway. A lot. Luna [Literally my best-friend] helped me by telling me to do a death or something like that. So I did that. I wasn't sure who I wanted to choose for this. It was going to be Canada, then Romano, then One of the Nordics (either Denmark or Finland), until I finally settled on Prussia. Don't bother about the title though. I couldn't think of anything else.)
