I sat on the forest floor, relaxing after a feed. I sifted dirt through my fingers trying to imagine what it would be like to wield earth. Since I discovered that I wield fire, I found that I had a stronger connection to it -- almost like a bond. It was soothing and it made me feel alive. Maybe for an earth wielder, being alone in the woods, having cool, course soil in your hands, was euphoric.

I lifted my head up and embraced the little bit of sun that peeked out from behind the trees. I sighed in happiness from the way that, that large ball of fire warmed me. I thought for a moment that maybe the sun is where fire wielders drew their element from. Even at night, the sun is reflecting off of the moon. Maybe we weren't creating fire out of nothing after all. But that was more of a side thought than a theory. But who knows? Maybe I was right.

I glanced over to my left at the dead rabbit carcass that I had fed from. It was starting to gross me out so I figured I should start my way home. Today was the dance so I wanted to be away from people as long as I could. But Noelle said she was coming over at noon to get ready with me and it was already 11. She could honestly be there actually.

On my way back to my car, I started to feel light headed. I stopped walking for a moment, but it didn't seem to help. I started walking again, assuming that once I sat down I would feel better. But I started to feel worse and worse with each passing second. Suddenly, a dark, eerie feeling engulfed my entire body that caused me to stop in my tracks. It made my stomach turn. I don't know how to describe it, but it felt like death. And not a peaceful, drifting off in your sleep to Heaven peaceful. It was an evil, bloody, dark, murderous, death. And then, everything went black.

A strange, yet familiar feeling began washing over me. I was trying to peg it to the instance where I experienced it before. Then it hit me. It was the same feeling I had when I had the dream through Andres' eyes. When I saw him being killed. Only this time, I felt like I wasn't completely alone. When I saw through Andres' eyes, in the dream, I knew it wasn't me. I was connected to this person in a different way. This time I saw nothing. Only darkness. But I knew I was in this person's mind. And this person wasn't thinking pleasant thoughts. This person was out for blood. They wanted to kill, and they wanted it badly. That was their driving force. I was in this person's head; maybe there was a way I could communicate with them and figure out what their problem was.

"Hello?" I seemed to call out into nothing. No response. Just darkness and silence. Silence, besides the murderous feeling. "Who are you?" I called out again.

"What do you want? I'm trying to sleep." An unfamiliar male voice answered, clearly annoyed. Whoa. I made contact. When I listened to the conversation between Andres and the hunter in my 'dream', their voices were muffled, but this voice came out clear as a bell; aside from a slight echo.

"I'm not sure," I answered quietly. "I think I passed out, and I think I'm in your head."

He huffed. "You do realize how insane you sound, right?"

I groaned. "Yes, believe me, I do. But something like this has happened to me before." I told him. He didn't answer and I thought I had 'lost him'.

"What do you mean?" He asked curiously.

"I saw my cousin get killed through his eyes when I was asleep. But it was real. I felt everything and I found his body in real life around the area I saw him being killed." I realized I did sound like a maniac. But then again, this guy was one too.

"Wow." He replied. "And you think the same thing is happening with me?"

"Yes." I replied plainly.

"Well, what do you see?" His curious voice was still present.

"Nothing. Everything's dark." I told him.
