Elena's pregnancy

Chapter 9

Christmas party 

Damon's POV 

Today the Gilbert's are having their annual Christmas party. Elena and i are going to tell our parents that Elena is pregnant. I'm a little bit terrified. But I have to be strong.

I'm getting dressed. I put on a suit and a watch. I go down stairs and see my brother and my dad already dressed. 

"You look good bro," Stefan says as i walk up to him.

"Thanks and so do you. Let us go and have a wonderful time." i say and walk to the front door. I hope when me and Elena tell them she is pregnant they will be happy. I'm so nervous.

Elena's POV

Damon just texted me and told me they are on the way. I am so scared that my parents are going to be so mad. NO SHIT.

I'm wearing a red off shoulder dress and black  heels. I put on some makeup and curl my hair(A/N: like Katherine's hair on tvd)

I hear a knock on my room door. I get up to open the door to see Caroline and Bonnie at the door.

"Hey," they both say together.

"Hey guys," I say.

"Merry Christmas!" They shout.

I told them Merry Christmas and we sat down on my bed.

"So today is the big day, are you scared." Bonnie asks me.

"Yup. So scared." I tell her.

"We will be there for you." Caroline says.

"Thanks guys!" I say and hugged them both in a group hug.

After we go downstairs and see my brother Jeremy and parents downstairs all dressed elegantly.

"You look beautiful sweetheart," my dad says and kisses me on the forehead. "Thanks dad. You look very handsome." I compliment my father.

"Thanks" he says and goes to sit by my mom.

There was a knock on the door and I saw Damon, Stefan and their father at the door.

"Merry Christmas" they all say together.

"Merry Christmas" I say and let them in.

Once we are all settled and all the guests have arrived, we gather around the table to enjoy Christmas dinner. Everyone is enjoying their meal. My dad stands up to make a toast.

"Thank you everyone for joining us this evening. It is a pleasure to see y'all again. I would like to make a toast to my wonderful family and especially my daughter for making me proud." He says and I smile. I hope I make him  proud still. I hope they take the news well.

"Elena are you ready to tell them" Damon whispers in my ears. I nod and stand up.

"I would like to say something. Its good news or maybe bad news for some of y'all but mom, dad , Mr. Salvatore... I'm...I'm...I'm pregnant..." I say. Please don't get mad at me.

Everyone stays quiet. Until Caroline and Bonnie speaks,"congratulations Damon and Elena," they shout clapping their hands and standing up and the rest of my friends clap too congratulating us.(Matt, Tyler, Liv, Alaric, Jeremy and Jenna) I'm happy that they are happy but who I really want to please is my parents and Damon's father.

"You're what?" My mom says. Oh no.

Authors note: sorry for not posting. I've been focusing on my studies and forgot to write. I also have been writing the plot for my new book "Falling in love with a bad boy". Sorry... But here's a new chapter which sort of ended with cliff hanger. I'll try to write more soon. Bye.
