"Are you okay!" He yelled from the ground.

"Hell yeah!" I was more than okay.

As he attacked the front, I went for the back, aiming to cause as much damage as I could. I flew around the dragon, its wings seemingly useless as it stayed on the ground. I realized that if those wings were put to use, it would be a one on one. Flying onto the dragon's back I attacked the wings violently, blue sparks clashing on black metal. I threw my hands forward, sweat dripping down my face. Bright light clashed off of its back, as I was continually relentless with my power. A loud groan resounded, as the large piece of metal fell to the ground.

"Aiden watch out!" Recognizing that danger he was in, Aiden threw a large flame at the piece of metal, causing it to drip around him like rain. Unfortunately, that was distracting, and the dragon managed to sneak an attack in with what was left of its body. Aiden fell to his side, and the dragon was about to crush him with its mangled paw, but I created a hole in the earth for him to fall into. The foot came down with an earsplitting thud before it started to melt away. I sighed in relief as I watched the front right foot fall off from the heat. Aiden was all right. But the dragon was still up, and that was not okay.

Swooping down, and I joined him in the hole and paved another tunnel to where Jasper and Dee were hiding. Aiden followed behind me quickly, and we were there in no time.

"Is everyone alright?" They all nodded. "Where are the gods?"

"I left them behind. The effect wasn't reversing quickly enough, so I came on my own." I was about to respond when Dee cut in.

"Hayley, I can predict its moves! Hephaestus is controlling the dragon, and I can anticipate what he's going to do."

"Why didn't you mind link that to me?"

"I did, but I couldn't get through to you." My eyes widened slightly, but I shook off the thought. There was nothing we could do about it now.

"If I know the moves, I can offer counter attacks that could help us finish off this robot for good." Jasper was confident in his combat abilities, and I trusted him.

"I'll mind link Aiden the moves along with the counter attack, and then Aiden can tell it to you. You'll just have to be in hearing distance." Dee's plan sounded executable.

"I'll just stay on the ground. Better to have all four powers on the earth than one in the air." I turned to Aiden, ready to fight and defend. He nodded at me, ready at my go.

"Dee's ready," he responded, obviously having used the mind link.

"Then let's go."

Bursting out of the ground, we charged. I had my electric weapon in one hand, readying my left hand for earth attacks.

"Dodge left! Strike high right!" I lifted a slab of earth to my left, blocking the attack from the dragon, then I shot a bolt at its right shoulder while Aiden fired low. The right leg was beginning to fall to pieces.

"He's going to take flight! We need to get rid of the other wing!"

"Hold on!" I yelled. I floated into the air, and as I did, I lifted Aiden up on a piece of rock. He grabbed the edges and held on for dear life. Once on top of the dragon, I dropped him on its back and landed by his side. "Good?" I asked. He nodded.

"Good. I go for the wing, you go for the second eye." Aiden ran forward, flames in his hands as I flew over to the face. Flames sprouted into the air with Aiden's fierce, unrelenting blows. Pulling off my bracelet, I changed it into a bow. Taking aim, I shot the arrow straight into the dragon's eye, a streak of electricity right behind it. The orb exploded and pieces of glass cut my face. I ducked and flew straight into the falling wing that Aiden had managed to detach. I fell to the ground, crushed by the huge piece of metal.

The wind was knocked out of me and I cried out in pain. I tried to move out of the way as the dragon started to fall in my direction. I struggled, my movements becoming increasingly frantic. The body was inching closer and closer towards me. My heartbeat raced in my chest as I squirmed in the snow.

Snow.

Snow was water!

Hastily, I gather the snow around me, melting it down to water before freezing it back up as a large spike of ice. The metal grated against the huge icicle, and the spike managed to keep what was left of the dragon in the air and away from me. I exhaled quickly, but my heart didn't calm down. It wasn't over.

"Hayley! He's going for the portal!" It was never over. Dipping the earth slightly beneath me, I crawled out from beneath the wing, my body aching and sore. I don't know how I managed to move, but I was able to do it. I limped over to Aiden, and we watched as the portal shrunk.

"No! He can't do that!" I staggered over to the portal, trying to move as fast as I could when an explosion occurred. I was thrown back onto Aiden, and we were pushed farther away. We stumbled onto Dee and Jas as the force persisted. Instantly, everything was silent and still. My body was aching all over and I was having a hard time moving. I rolled over and raised my head. There were no signs of battle on the field. Everything was gone, and all evidence of a struggle had disappeared into thin air.

"What the..." Right in the middle of the meadow was the portal, still open and still round. The swirl of colors was as vibrant as ever, and right in front of the portal was Andrea, holding a large metal box that looked like the one that the fake her had given me. She dropped the box and hustled over to where we were.

"Here, I've got some Syrup." She handed us small vials of the medicine, and we each downed it in one go. My aching muscles immediately felt better, but I was still sore.

"You've got any more of that?"

"No, sorry." We all sat up, leaning against each other for support.

"What happened?" Jasper asked.

"I used Hephaestus's invention to trap him. Those boxes act like black holes. They were designed to hold matter in a compressed format for easy transportation."

"Smart," I mumbled. "He needs to add a passcode lock on his inventions so only he can use them," I suggested.

"It's a little too late for that now," Dee added, "and I'm glad that it is."

"So, what now?" Aiden asked.

"The gods are waiting for us in the throne room. By the time we get there, they should've fully regenerated."

"Can't they come down here?" Dee was whining, and I could relate. I didn't want to move. Andrea shook her head, looking apologetic.

"The faster we get up there, the faster we can rest."
