A Girl Meets Love

Chapter 6

I laid in the unfamiliar bed with the odd scent. It smelt like wilderness, freedom, and sweat. The springs of the other beds shrieked as the people who slept in it moved. I couldn't sleep. I wouldn't sleep. What if something bad happens when I wake up? Am I being too paranoid?

"Sunny...?" A voice whispered. I hummed in response and I heard the bed squeak violently. Someone was sitting up, most likely.
"Meet me outside." I heard the feet hit the wooden floors and walk towards the door. My bed was silent as I slowly got out of bed and opened the noisy door. I saw the figure of my cabin mate standing right in front of the river. I never realized how close it was. He turned around and I was surprised to see that it was Sehun who called me out here.

"What's up?" I asked as I walked up next to him and stared at the water.

"I couldn't sleep and it seemed like you couldn't either." He said as he scratched the back of his neck.

"Why would you think I wasn't sleeping?" I asked as I looked at him. He looked at me and smiled as he shrugged.

"Just a guess." He said as he turned his body. We were so close. Our chests were touching. I sucked in my breath and looked up at him. I never realized how tall he was. A small shiver ran down my back. He noticed and took off his sweat shirt and wrapped it around my shoulders.

"Well it was a good guess." I whispered. He nodded bent down a bit so we were at eye level. My eyes widened, I'm pretty sure, and he moved closer so our noses were just barely touching.
"Se-Sehun..." My voice was really hushed that it was probably inaudible. He closed his eyes and his lips brushed off of mine. I closed my eyes tightly and stood stiff. His lips were pressed against mine for a small moment and he quickly backed off. I opened my eyes slowly and he cleared his throat.

"Uhm... sorry..." He said as he bowed a bit and walked back to the cabin. My face was heating up and I turned my attention to the river and laid a hand on my cheek.

"Omona..." I whispered as a smile grew on my face. I let out a small sigh and the smile remains on my face.
