***Zack's Point of View***

I couldn't believe it. I was now a part of the White Owl's team. I was officially a Disciple. It was still taking me time to digest it all. As I was looking around the corridor then realizing that it was time for us to leave, I had to contemplate everything around me.

A piece of me felt great, but another piece of me felt sad. I was leaving Jonah behind. But I couldn't worry about that now. I had to look forward.

We all went to a living area to stay the night and rest up because apparently the next day we were suppose to do a mission. They didn't explain much to me. They just said we all would meet up in the morning. I slept alone that night in a small closet like room unsure and not knowing what to expect for the rest of my future. All I knew is I couldn't wait to see what it held...

(((THE NEXT MORNING)))

Ryoll - "Get up! Rise! Time to go!"

We were awakened.

Derxus - "Ok, everyone. I know you 2 have just got here and may not know me well, but I'm all about making my time count. So I have food in the Rover Ram. We will ride it to the outer lands and do a simple mission that I was partitioned to carry out by the Oxford family. They pay well. Plus, this will give me a chance to feel you two out in the field; See your strengths in action and to see if you're even worth my time. So come on. Let's head out. Ryoll, you can drive us to the dirt hills pass the fog woods where we found the dirt dogs and ember lizards last time. We will start there."

Ryoll - "Yes, sir!"

Dirt dogs and Ember lizards?! What have I gotten myself into?

**********************

As we boarded the Rover Ram, I looked around and took in my surroundings. I could see the Blue Planet of Morner in the distance and I could also see Planet Rose with its purple hue all around it. I could see the huge dark hills of the outer lands coming closer to us as we drove in the fog. The calls and cries of dirt dogs sounded in the distance.

I took a moment to examine the company I had with me. Ryoll was a very dark-toned teenager with a very straight face. Almost stone like. I couldn't see his hair because he kept a black hood over his head. He dressed almost like he resided in the outer lands. But yet his outfit still showed signs of fashionable taste, unlike the White Owl.

The White Owl wore literally all white attire adorned with a face mask, a battle grade vest and bottoms. He had white combat boots as well as a white hooded coat. The white of his attire was more of a faded beige at this point though. You could tell he has done much in this attire and the dirt and fog eventually changed the original coloration of the outfit.

Galiera wore exactly what you would expect a dirt dwelling teenager to wear. Somewhat provocative and yet comfortable attire. Nothing too flashy, but just right for outer land type activity or even living. She had auburn skin and long black hair that had faded sides. Her face was actually fair, almost pretty even. But her demeanor was very strong and stern. Not stiff, but alert. They all looked like a complete unit. And then there was me.

I was a homie easy-faced brunette young male with no real aggression. I was an orphan so I wasnt spoiled or privileged, but I was brought up in the lower city so my style, as I worked for merits and bought my own clothes for a bit, was more modern and Citizen-like. I didn't look like them. I didn't know how to fight outside of lessons and tournaments held at the orphanage.

They all seemed battle ready and battle tried. I wasnt sure if I would be a good fit here.

Derxus - "Alright, everyone. We are here. Finish your meals, it's time to retrieve this family emblem that the son of the Oxford family misplaced out here in the woods. He said that he got his hand burnt by an ember lizard and fell and dropped the emblem. It's a diamond ring with star crystals engraved in the diamond. This is a very, very valuable and one of a kind emblem. It should be red and white. Let's find it. You guys go in and I will watch from the top of the hill. Good luck."

And just like that, I was thrown into the wild on my first mission by the White Owl.
