’’It’s finally lunch break!'' I heard one of my classmates exclaim.

Should I take this opportunity to make new friends? But will they find me weird? I have been receiving some stares now and then. Maybe it’s because I’m new…

Suddenly, my arm was hooked with someone. I turned my head around and saw Satsuki linking her arm with mine. She was smiling widely and I smiled  back at her.

''Do you want to eat with us on the rooftop? '' Satsuki asked with sparkly eyes.

''Us?'' I questioned.

''Akashi kun, Aomine kun, Tets kun, Midorima kun, Kise kun and Murasakibara kun!'' She said stomping her foot lightly like a child and I sweat dropped with a chuckle.

''Why not? '' I answered with a smile. I’m kind of nervous…

When we reached the rooftop, I saw the rest sitting there having a fun. I feel so awkward to join them. I hope I don’t kill the atmosphere.

''Ah! Its Kimicchi! '' Kise kun shouted, waving. 

''Kimiko, do join us. '' Akashi kun invited with a small smile. 

I hesitated but I felt like I shouldn’t act cold. I walked towards them in small steps and placed my bento down. I tried to strike a conversation with them to feel less awkward.

''What club are all of you in?'' I asked with a curious tone.

''Basketball club!'' They said at the same time.

''Eh? What-’’ said and I nearly chocked.

As I nearly choked with a funny face, everyone burst out laughing even Akashi kun who chuckled.

''Are you alright Kimiko san?'' Kuroko kun asked and gently patted my back with his pale cool hand.

''Ah I-I'm alright Kuroko kun'' I replied. Kuroko kun is really cute. I still want to touch his hair...

''Kimiko.'' Akashi kun suddenly called out.

'' Y-Yes?'' I asked.

''Be the manager for our club.'' Akashi said with a commanding tone.

''This again?” I sighed before continuing, “Akashi kun, I kindly decli-'' 

Before I could decline, Satsuki interrupted me.

"What a great idea! Help me Kimiko~ it’s tiring to manage these monkeys all by myself! “She complained while pouting.

"Ah! But if you join you can't have Tets kun! I'm his girlfriend! “She added possessively.

"I'm not your girlfriend Momoi san." Kuroko kun said expressionless and Satsuki anime cried.

"Ano...don't worry. I won't be joining the club. I would like to join the Art club though..." I said hesitantly.

"Why don't we play a game Kimiko?" Akashi kun suggested out of the blue.

"A-a game?" I asked. This is suspicious and creepy…

"If we manage to pull the ribbon off your hair by end of the day, you have to join the basketball club." Akashi kun said with a smirk.

I thought about it for a while and asked, "What if I escape and win?"."You get to join whatever club you like and you can command any of us once." He said gesturing to the members.

"I accept your challenge. However, no chasing me during class time!" I shouted and quickly ran away.

I heard shouts from the rooftop as I sprinted down the stairs. I saw Aomine kun chasing me from behind and I lead him until the hallway. I looked back and pointed behind.

"Uwahh! F cup beauty!" I dramatically exclaimed with a shocked expression.

"WHAT?! WHERE?!" Aomine kun stopped his tracks and looked around. What a noob to belive me…

I quickly ran away and slammed the door into the science lab.

I saw Midorima kun waiting for me there with his vase. He looked like he was ready to pounce on me any moment.

"Midorima kun, could you tell me the lucky items for all the zodiac sign? You see, I am VERY interested in this kind of things…” I asked with an enthusiastic expression.

"It can't be helped since you are so interested nanodayo. Aries lucky item of the day is a puppy collar. Leo lucky item of the day is a pinwheel-"

While Midorima kun closed his eyes and chanted while adjusting his glasses, I sneaked out of the room successfully. I heard him scream in surprise after a few seconds later. 

As I walked down the hallway since I ran out of breath, I saw Kuroko kun standing right in front of me. He tried to grab my ribbon but I grabbed both of his hand and lightly threw him back.

"I’M SORRY KUROKO KUN!" I shouted while running, my head still turned back at him with an apologetic look.

While I turned to the right, I saw Kise kun leaning against the wall with a sparkly aura around him. I sweat dropped and stopped.

"Kise kun, what are you doing?" I asked suspiciously. He is definitely trying to get my ribbon but he is not attacking?

"Well, I was waiting to give you a hug!" He said with a wink and all the girls around fainted.

I sweat dropped even more and said, "Kise kun, you're handsome and all but...you're not my type." I said bluntly.

He anime cried and I saw an arrow pierce his heart and he dramatically fainted. That was easy...I proceeded upstairs to find Murasakibara kun standing in front of me. I threw a Maibo behind me and he ran for it. I’m so glad I bought some Maibo with me today…

The only one left is Akashi kun...Satsuki isn't much of a threat…I hope. As I slowly walked down the hallway, anticipating an ambush, I saw Satsuki coming out of a room and she noticed me.

"Satsuki, if you let me pass, I'll give you a kuroko kun sleeping picture." I said calmly.

Her eyes turn sparkly and she started to blush.

"E-EH?! I CAN'T! I WOULD DIE FROM NOSEBLEED!" She said and started to squeal. I chuckled and skipped towards the classroom.

I suddenly got pulled into an embrace and my head was against his chest. My heart fluttered as I inhaled his smell. His wrinkled free uniform smelled like newly washed fluffy towels. I looked up slightly to see Akashi kun with a small smile.

"I caught you Kimiko" He whispered into my ear. His hot breath tickled my ear as he grabbed both of my wrists and pulled the ribbon off my hair. My hair danced in the air as the ribbon was released and slowly went dropped back against my back. I saw Akashi kun look at me with his ruby eyes and released my wrist. I saw the rest of the members running towards us.

I took a deep breath and announced that I am their manager along with Satsuki.

At the corner of my eye, I saw Akashi looking at me with a smile.

What is that smile supposed to mean...?
