"Diana!" Violet and Grace screamed.

Diana looked up from her book. The two hurried over to her. Their smiles were beaming off their faces. Grace carried in two large dresses in her hands. They had bright, vibrant purple and green accents which made them look like they had gotten from a cheap costume store. The green one had a ripped sleeve and the purple one had tulle spitting out of it every which way.

"We need you to do something. For us, of course," Violet said.

"It looks painfully obvious, but what do you need?" Diana asked, looking at the destroyed clothing.

"We need you to sew our dresses," Grace said and handed them to her.

"Shocker," Diana mumbled to herself.

"For the Winter Formal dance!" Violet squealed.

Diana went back to her book.

"Ok, no problem. When is the dance?" She asked.

"Saturday."

Diana slammed the book down.

"Saturday ? You're giving me two days to sew both of your dresses that are completely destroyed?" she asked, "and why did I not know about this dance?"

"Well, we only knew about it since Monday," Violet said.

"That was three days ago!" Diana screamed.

"And everyone knows about the dance. It's kinda a big deal. I'm surprised no one told you. Oh wait, that's right. You have no friends," Grace mocked.

"Well, it would have been nice to have some notice before you bombard me with requests," Diana groaned. "And are you even allowed to go after your little 'suspension' yesterday?"

"Um, we did not get suspended. We had to temporarily leave the school because we could not control our emotions and actions around each other in a public place," Grace said.

"And that's not all the chores we have for you," Violet said.

Diana paused.

"What else? I am not polishing your shoes again. They smell horrible," she replied.

Violet pulled out a notebook from her back pockets and handed it to Diana.

"Wash the floors? Clean the kitchen? Take out the trash? These aren't my chores. These are your chores," she said.

"Yeah, I know. That's why I gave them to you," Violet said, "you know, sometimes you're not very bright."

Diana sighed. She looked at her sisters and handed Violet the notebook.

"I don't think so. I am not a maid, no matter what Ivy says. I am especially not your maid or this family's maid. I have my own life you know," Diana said with a smile and walked out of the room.

"What?" Grace asked.

Diana paused and turned to face her.

"Do I have to spell it out for you? I'm not doing your chores for you," she said.

Violet and Grace looked at each other dumbfounded.

"You know, sometimes you're not very bright," Diana mocking Violet's voice.

Grace and Violet glared at Diana.

"You are going to do our chores," Grace demanded.

Diana rolled her eyes and walked away. Grace grabbed her arm as she walked away.

"Get off!" she shouted, annoyed shaking Grace's hand off her arm.
