Lei's POV.

And of course, as soon as I open the door to Tora, the rant about the newest episode of The Vampire Diaries starts.

"Lei, oh my god! You'll never guess what happened in the next episode of The Vampire Diaries!" Tora rambles, letting herself in.

"Please Tora, come in." I say oh so sarcastically.

The looks at me with a blank look. "I'm your best friend, I shouldn't need permission to come in. Besides, don't you have more important things to worry about like-"

"Let me guess, Klaroline?"

Tora grumbles. "Way to steal my thunder."

"Don't tell me, Klaus and Caroline have a threesome with a moose?"

"Close, take out the moose and picture it under a tree, then you're there."

I raise my eyebrows. "Ooh, juicy!"

Which reminds me. "Speaking of which," I throw her an apple juice. "Drink up."

"Thanks Lei."

We sit their drinking our juice, until I realise, I'm still in my sleepwear.

"On the topic of important things, I need to get dressed. First day of 11th grade, gotta make an impression."

Tora laughs, and then gets a glance of the clock, and her face looks shocked.

"Even more importantly, you have five minutes to do so."

Only one word fit this moment, and that word is...

Shit.

After all the rushing, I managed to get a Rolling Stones muscle tank, a brown knit beanie, black leggings and some brown combat boots. Not bad I must say.

I just shoved all my make up in my bag because I didn't have time to do it, but I wasn't gonna go without it.

"Lei! We're already 5 minutes late!" Tora shouts.

I quickly run out of the room, grab Tora's hand and burst out my front door.

Looking around, I couldn't see Tora's car.

"Where's your car?" I ask.

"What do you mean? I walked here." She replies.

"You what?" I exclaim.

"Well, yeah, I only live two blocks away, and besides, I'm only on my learners! Do you know how unsafe that would be?!"

"Oh whatever mum. Well, I guess that means were running."

And with that, I grabbed her hand and ran. Ran as fast as my legs could handle. I mean sure, schools only around the corner, but in my standards, its too far.

As soon as we arrived at the gate, we ran in the office, got our schedules, and ran out.

"Mr Denjawat again? And his class first? You have to be kidding me." Tora said whist running.

"I know right! I swear he hates me." I replied.

As we came to the class, I did a casual thing Lei would do...

I ran into the door and fell to the ground.

And sure enough, Tora opened the door at that very moment.

So much for good impressions.

"Crap, theres a new guy." Tora muttered.

"Ah, Miss Lorenzi." Mr Denjawat started. "I see nothing has changed from your 10th grade late pattern."
