Lei's POV

We didn't sleep all night. Not me, not Norah, not Miranda.

Well, I guess part of the reason they couldn't get to sleep was because I made them watch season 1A of the Vampire Diaries.

They are just on the last episode now.

I'm not sure how much of the show is reality, but hey, if it helps them get a whole better grasp of the situation, I'm all for it.

All night my eyes flicked from the night sky outside my window, to my phone, to the roof of my room, to the piercing eyes of Damon Salvatore, yet nothing took my mind off yesterday.

I don't want to admit it to myself, but I'm too freaked to go back to school. I know that guys locked up with Mikael, or whoever his 'friend' is, but that encounter with me, and then with Tora and Norah-Lee, I don't know, I feel sort of, targeted.

And I think the girls feel the same way.

Its a lot to take in I guess.

I need to relax, I know I do, but I can't.

I'm definitely not going to school, and I don't think Miranda and Norah are either.

At least I assume so.

It's not like anyone is going to know, Dad's away on buisness.

Yeah. That's it, I'm staying home.

I'll be bored shitless but I don't care.

I guess that means I can wait for Tora and Mikael to come back.

Ugh, my brain never stops thinking, I say to myself, I need a distraction.

I take a deep breath and decide to call Keegan, he always calms me down.

"Be back soon guys, I'm just going downstairs to call Keegan." I inform.

"Okay. Hey, are we going to school?" Norah groggily asks.

"Well, I'm not, but you two are a different story."

"Yeah, I'd rather not." Miranda mutters.

Norah follows shortly after with a nod of agreement.

"Alright, you guys can stay here the day if you want. Raid the fridge, and if you want more Vampire Diaries, season 1 to 4 is down there. Knock yourselves out!" I reply.

"Thanks." They both smile.

I dial Keegan's number as I walk down the stairs.

I really hope he picks up.

"Hello?" A raspy voice comes from the phone.

"Hello my dear brother that loves me so much and wouldn't care that I called even when its 4am in Oahu!" I reply.

"What do you want Lei?"

"Well, after you completely disregarding my amazing intro, an apology!" I laugh.

"Seriously, what do you want?"

"I just want to chat with my big brother."

Keegan stifles a laugh. "You're so annoying and cute at the same time!"

"That's why you love me!" I smile.

I hear him talking to someone else on the other side of the phone.

It must be his lovely girlfriend Macie.

"Okay, I'm in the living room now. What is it you want to talk about?" He asks.
