Lei's POV.

Mikael had eaten half of the brownies.

How big are guys appetites? Gosh!

I only had one!

And you'll never guess what happened next.

He actually fell asleep during The Vampire Diaries.

I am ready to stab that boy simultaneously with a pineapple.

He was still asleep.

So much for that 'not leaving you alone' thing.

I had a knock at my front door after I just finished my Vampire Diaries, so I went into the basement and got a baseball bat, just in case.

I opened the door and flinched, only to find out it was Miranda.

"Oh my god Miranda, you almost gave me a heart attack!" I lauged.

She stormed in. "You think I gave you a heart attack? You left school unexpectedly without telling us! I thought you got raped!"

I gave a smug smile. "Almost."

"What?"

She looked across to my living room to see The Vampire Diaries credits on.

"And all just to watch a stupid episode of Vampire Diaries! Unbeliev- why is there a guy on your couch?" She said realising Mikael was there.

I tried to avoid the question.

"Do not ever insult Vampire Diaries, ever."

"Lei, why is there a guy on your couch?"

I sighed.

"It's not just any guy either."

Miranda walked up to him and looked at his face, and then started at me shocked.

"The new guy?!?!" She screamed.

"I can explain, please don't get mad!"

"Mad? I'm not mad! If anything I think you're lucky to have someone as cute as him sleeping on your couch!"

"Well, tough luck. He's an A grade asshole anyway."

"So why is he in you're house then?"

"Good point." I said, sitting down with head in my hands.

"Do you like him or something?" Miranda asks.

"Oh hella no. I just feel guilty, the past few hours he's been doing all he can to help me from this problem, and I've done nothing in return."

"What problem?"

"When I was in the bathroom before second period, a noticed a man behind me. He started viciously dragging me out of the bathroom, but then Mikael knocked him out. He realised that before we could get the man to help, he was gone, and he may possibly be still out for me, so Mikael has never left my side since."

"Mikael?"

"That's the new guy's name."

"Oh, okay."

We stayed silent for a minute.

"So why do you seem so chill then?" Miranda asked with a worried look.

"That's what I'd like to know." Said a male voice.

Oh, great.

Mikael has risen.

"Hi, I'm Mikael." He said, offering his hand out to Miranda.

"Miranda." She smiled, shaking his hand.
