Finally. The show was only weeks
away.
Willow and I have been training every day for it and we were confident that we would win.
This wasn't just any show, it was the California State show. People all over California would compete against me.
It was early in the morning when I woke up. I got out of bed and slipped on a shirt and my breeches. I rushed down the stairs and put on my boots.
I ran out the door and over to the barn.
As I entered the barn I was greeted by a soft whinny.
"Good morning Willow! Ready for our lesson?"
Willow bobbed his head in agreement.
I opened the stall door and put his halter on. I led him out of the barn and clipped him in the crosstie.
