The warm and comforting scent of freshly-baked pastries and other sweet goods reached your senses as soon as you stepped past the threshold of the local pastry shop. You enjoyed indulging and treating yourself to a nice baked treat every once in a while, especially from this quaint bakery. It was local and everything there was good. Not only that, but the patisserie that worked there was absolutely gorgeous and you took any opportunity you had to steal glances at him.

"Y/n!" You heard that familiar voice, deep and smooth like the sweetest caramel.
Glancing up, you saw the handsome patisserie that captured your heart, Taehyung, waving from the kitchen doorway.
"I baked something especially for you." He grinned, meeting you at the counter.
"For me? What is it?"
"Chocolate soufflé."
"Mmm." You hummed at the thought of a delicious soufflé. "Sounds yummy."
"Hopefully it is. I just pulled a batch out of the oven a few minutes ago. I'll bring one to you." He scampered giddily to the kitchen, returning moments later with the freshly-baked treat.
Bringing you over to your usual table, he placed the soufflé down and handed you a spoon as you took a seat.
Pushing your utensil into the fluffy dessert, you got a decently-sized bite and popped it into your mouth. All the while, Taehyung stood over you with a look of anticipation on his face, eyes glimmering with hope.
"What do you think?"
It's delicious. Though I expect nothing less from you. Everything you make is spectacular."
"That means a lot coming from you. I appreciate it." He attempted to hold back a proud grin. "Would you like anything to drink?"
"Some (favorite fruit) tea would be nice."
"I'll be right out with it." He gave a brief nod while parting ways.

Your eyes stayed glued to his back, sighing dreamily once he got behind the front counter. Unable to stop the love-induced thoughts, you began imagining how perfect of a boyfriend he would be. He's the full package. He's kind, he's got a good sense of humor, he can bake like no one's business, and he's extremely attractive.

You watched him brew your tea behind the counter while savoring the chocolate soufflé you'd been presented with.
Taehyung glanced over his shoulder to check on you, flashing you a grin when he saw you staring. A couple short minutes later, he returned and placed a small cup of the fruity tea onto the table.
"Did you like it that much?" He inquired amusedly, taking notice of the empty soufflé ramekin.
"Of course I did. It was delicious and exactly what I was craving if you'd believe it. You were gifted with an incredible talent." You gushed.
"There's no need for all these compliments." He said through giddy chuckles.
"You deserve them. Feedback is what keeps people going and helps to fuel their passion. Plus, I can't just eat something delicious and not compliment the one who made it."
Taehyung lowered his head to hide his pink cheeks, staring at his shoes.
"So, what do I owe you for this?"
"Nothing. It's on the house."
"What? Are you sure?"
"Yeah. Don't worry about it." He waved a dismissive hand. "I own this pastry shop. I can give away things for free if I want."
"That's very nice of you, Taehyung."
"Don't mention it."
He collected your empty soufflé ramekin and took it to the kitchen where you watched him through the tiny window on the swinging door, sipping your tea in silence.
