Ok , guys so here's the deal. Whoever is the first to comment on a chapter, gets that chapter dedicated to them. So nice of me, right? Yes, I know lol I love the feedback I'm getting back and I am so happy you are enjoying this book and find it so unique. It's only going to get better, but there will be some excitement soon followed by tragedies...I don't wanna give the mystery away, so just keep reading. Oh, and please excuse my grammatical errors. I'm just writing...I'm not really publishing or anything like that yet. Hopefully, I can make it through this book without giving up like all the rest.

Chapter 4

"Will you stop screaming your freaking head off like an insane woman?" Seth said, annoyed. "Banshees do not live here."

"This is some sort of trickery!" I was totally freaking out as I continued to stare at myself in horror and disbelief.

My large, slanted cat-shaped eyes had gone from the natural gray color I was used to to an amazingly bright gold. My freckles had vanished from my heart-shaped face and my fair skin complexion looked smooth and soft with rosy red cheeks. I touched my hair in amazement. It was no longer straight and dull with split ends, but was now full and bouncy with curls that reminded me of a hair commercial. Had they done a make over on me while I was sleep? Even my lips looked different. They weren't dry and cracked and thin. They looked full, soft, pink and...kissable.

"That isn't me." I shook my head. "No, this is some weird mirror. What kind of sick joke is this?" I started laughing hysterically. "Okay, you got me. Where is Angel. I'm on the show, Punked, right? I mean I'm not a celebrity or anything, but this is pretty good. You did some type of make over on me while I was asleep?"

"It's not a magic mirror, Jezebel." Seth sighed, rolling his eyes.

"What did you do to me?" I continued, panicking as realization that he was not joking set in. I was beginning to hyperventilate as I spun around to look at him with wide eyes. "My eyes are like...gold! How...when...why the hell are my eyes gold? I knew it! You've poisoned me!"

"Will you just calm down!" Seth angrily snarled and my face went white as his face contorted into an angry glare. "You're acting like a bi-polar person."

"What is with all the ruckus?" a voice said and I looked to see Mara shuffle into the room.

"I told her about her parents." Seth said with a blank expression.

"You idiot." Mara scowled. "I told you it was too soon. You just like dumping crap on people. You shouldn't have even brought her noisy self up here yet."

"Well, we can't have little Miss Princess here sleeping in the dungeons." Seth said sarcastically. "What would everybody say if they found out?"

"That her sister ought to be the one locked in there." Mara replied stiffly. "I'd banish her into Hell if I could."

"Now, now, mother," Seth chuckled. "You and I both know neither Satan or the Gods want her after what she has done. She couldn't be trusted in either worlds. That is why she's an outcast, am I right?"

"Don't butter me up, boy." Mara replied, grudgingly. "Keep it down. I'm cooking something..." She glanced at me with another one of those thoughtful looks before continuing, "marvelous."

"Are you making another one of those beauty potions?" Seth asked lazily. "Every time you do that crap, you end up looking worse and older than before."

"It's worth the few years of me looking young and beautiful," she cackled. "Look, you already opened this can of worms and I don't feel like going through it having to explain to this dramatic wretch why her parents screwed up not only her life, but all of our lives."
