I'm sorry.
I apologize to those of you who have been reading this book from the beginning to now, but I removed the beginning of Chapter 8 to put in Chapter 9 because it was confusing people, so I just wanted to clear that up in case you're wondering why you're reading the same thing again, but it's just the first few paragraphs. The rest is different.

Chapter 9: Kiara's POV
"Jesus Christ!" I yelled in fright as I was suddenly pulled out of the warmth of my bed. I kicked and fought back until I could hear the familiar voices of my siblings. I blinked my eyes open a few times before they adjusted to the dim light seeping into the bedroom window and I could make out the silhouettes of Kim, Kelvin and Kayla all huddled around me. I glared at them as I stood up. What the hell was their problem? "Seriously?"
"Ssh!" Kim hushed me and if I could see her face more clearly, I'd let her see the fury that was building up in my eyes. "We must leave. It is time."
My anger immediately disappeared as my stomach tightened up in knots of worry. I grabbed my bow and arrows out of the closet and quickly dressed in all black. "I'm ready. Lets go."
We crept out of our apartment swiftly and quietly, unnoticed by the humans who would wake early. Like lightening, we dashed through the streets, our feet hitting the pavement hardly audible until we reached Kelvin's small submarine hidden in the water under the docks where Kim had cast a spell, so none of the humans would come near enough to see it. She closed her eyes and waved her hands in front of it to lift the spell before we climbed into the submarine. The inside was painted in all green and the walls were slightly chipped. It's a very strong vessel and Kelvin was quite proud of his submarine that he called Lucy. It had a 30 year lifespan that would end in 2024.
We made our way to the control room and Kelvin activated some lights and switches that were all around the room. I didn't know much about the control room because Kim and Kelvin were the ones who took care of everything in here.
"Okay, lets do this." Kelvin said seriously, all play vanished from his eyes without a trace. He began giving out orders. "Kim, you know you're with me until I say otherwise. Kayla, you keep watch on the periscope once we're at a depth of 50m or less. Kiara, head to the weapons room and make sure everything is secure. Lets get going, people. Kim, set the coordinates for me for the Bermuda Triangle."
Not long after, we set out on our mission to save the princess. I was sure by now, Jezebel had seen enough of our magical world to either know what was up or think she was crazy. Either way, she was gonna have to know the truth. I was feeling a little sick to my stomach. Who knows what we would be facing once we'd step onto the mystic island of Bermuda Triangle. I hadn't been there since I was a child and my last memories was of my whole family, including other creatures fleeing from the war that had erupted between the werewolves and the vampires. Only the strong and stubborn stayed behind and held their ground. Tears welled in my eyes as I remembered the stink smell of fear and hate that coated the beautiful tropical aroma of the island with homes destroyed and blood spilled on the ground.
I steadied myself on the wall nearest to me once I made sure everything was armed and in place. My gut was driving me crazy with butterflies, my hands were shaking and my palms were sweating. I sucked in a shaky breath and closed my eyes, willing myself to relax. Come on, Kiara, stop being such a pussy.
"Hey," I heard Kim behind me, "are you okay?"
"I'm fine." I said stiffly, turning to face her. She was standing in the doorway, watching me with a concerned look on her face. I rolled my eyes and gave her a 'what-do-you-want' look.
