Well, it seems to me that quite a few of you have enjoyed the last chapter. I've watched all of the Harry Potter movies and the Lord of the Ring movies, not that I'm a huge screaming fan or anything, but I do love Fantasy movies that aren't too cheesy and they're passable with certain parts and they have definitely given me some ideas, so I hope you enjoy this chapter and don't start writing me hate mail if you think it didn't turn out so well, but it's not the end so please keep reading, commenting, voting and fanning! Thanks!!!

Chapter 15: Jezebel's POV

My eyes fluttered open and it was as if my hearing had gone sonic or something. I quickly looked up at Angel and grabbed her hand as I pushed myself up, hearing footsteps sounding as if they were approaching us. A low growl escaped my lips as I smelled a familiar perfumed smell becoming stronger with each hurried footstep.

"Mara." I whispered and Angel's bright blue crystal eyes grew wide in horror. "We have to move."

I tried to leap to my feet, but my body seemed slow to move and weak still although Angel had completely healed me and she herself looked like she was ready to fall asleep. I nudged her and she sprang to life, gripping my hand tightly as her breaths became quick. She looked at me and nodded and we bolted up the stairs.

"Arghhh!" a scratchy voice cried as I tripped over what looked to be the half man, half goat looking creature I had run into earlier and he glared at me until noticing Angel. Before he could do anything else, I kicked him down the steps into the dungeon and took off running with Angel up the grand stairs to the tower I had once escaped through. I hadn't forgotten how to get there.

"This way!" Pushing her into the dark corridor, I looked back over the stairway railing and noticed Marana and four guards run into the dungeons before she let out a ear splitting scream. "Oh, good. She's found Seth."

"Jezebel, now is not the time to be idling." Angel whispered frantically as she looked around.

"Through here." I wrenched open the door to the tower and we bolted up the long winding stairs.

It didn't take us long to reach the top as we tore through the roof's door. The wind and rain pouring from the dark clouds covering the night sky instantly began slapping against our skins painfully as it swirled around us so strongly, the door we has escaped through flew off its hinges as the rain soaked us within seconds.

Then suddenly as lightening flashed brightly across the sky, illuminating everything in a bright white light for a split second, my eyes met a pair of large bright red ones and a pain hit my chest like someone had drove a knife into my heart. Clutching my chest, I fell to my knees and began to shake violently as the pain shot up to my head and I let out a scream in agony.

"Jezebel!" Angel screamed and I opened my eyes and looked up in time to see her begin to rush to help me just as something grabbed her and flung her to the side. I ignored the pain in my chest that seemed to be splitting my body in two as I leaped to my feet and threw myself at the beast.

Easily knocking me away as it stood fiercely over Angel, it glared at me and I finally got a good look at the creature as my eyes widened in horror. I had read upon a creature like this one in my history class once.

It was a Chimera, a fabulous fire-breathing she-monster with a body part lion and part goat and a serpent for its tail. It glared at me angrily with its bright red eyes through the head of the goat before lifting itself up onto its hind legs to reveal the lions head on its chest. It opened its mouth widely and I could clearly see a small ball of fire begin to build in the back of its mouth.
